Yes Sir it sure is, this was a picture from last year, it was friggin freezing, when you see me with chaps on, it has got to be below 40 degree's.

As for running like hell, naaa we collect the toys and then let society hand the stuff out, in our hearts we know what we did, no need to get the credit for it, hell as long as the kids have a smile.

Fantastic battle rifle.. Like a fool I once passed up a golden chance to buy one , unfired , still pack in
cosmoline grease in original military crate at a gun show in Memphis. Guy wanted 650 bucks way back when, I went up to my max at 500 he said no.. I wandered around for about an hour looking at guns etc. , went back after borrowing 150 bucks from my older brother and the gun had been sold he said about ten minutes before I got there, at the full 650 bucks he had asked for. I've always regretted now snatching that rifle up the first haggling session. Dude was a WW2 VETERAN , AND HAD NO DAMN BACK UP IN HIS HAGGLING.-TYR

Fantastic battle rifle.. Like a fool I once passed up a golden chance to buy one , unfired , still pack in
cosmoline grease in original military crate at a gun show in Memphis. Guy wanted 650 bucks way back when, I went up to my max at 500 he said no.. I wandered around for about an hour looking at guns etc. , went back after borrowing 150 bucks from my older brother and the gun had been sold he said about ten minutes before I got there, at the full 650 bucks he had asked for. I've always regretted now snatching that rifle up the first haggling session. Dude was a WW2 VETERAN , AND HAD NO DAMN BACK UP IN HIS HAGGLING.-TYR

I love that rifle. I've fired it at 2k yards and hit black. That's with the stock sights. Anyone ever gave me one of those for Christmas my pants would have a tent pole in it for at least 6 months. I'd have to get another job just to pay for the ammo.

Yes Sir it sure is, this was a picture from last year, it was friggin freezing, when you see me with chaps on, it has got to be below 40 degree's.

As for running like hell, naaa we collect the toys and then let society hand the stuff out, in our hearts we know what we did, no need to get the credit for it, hell as long as the kids have a smile.

No doubt it sucks to be bundled up, a pair of jeans, boots a tee shirt and my vest and I am thrilled, but the sound of those pipes ( no matter what ya are wearing ) just makes everything better, so as long as God keeps throwing cold weather down here I will have to keep dressing up. :laugh:

I got mine long ago through the civilian marksmanship program. Quite the deal back then. Not sure they can be had anymore without auctioning off the family jewels and selling the first born. That rifle really does allow you to reach out and touch someone...
