The faculty and the student body, to a great degree (and like UT) have totally forgotten who they are, where they are from or what state they are serving/learning. I believe we're talking about a different site but the end game sounds the same.....a bunch of losers. I even tried to go back but it is so lifeless and the ILK so prevalent, I saw no reason to stay. 100% correct. We've allowed things to go on for so long (NOW) that it will require VERY painful.....and down-right threatening actions to correct what we've allowed in damaging this Nation and its once GREATNESS. Kinda like me correcting my old, fat, broken-down body after years of neglect and abuse. I realize that I'll never be that TE or DE....or that track MONSTER I once was but to simply get back (in shape) it'd KILL me or I'd be wishing it'd kill me before I got "BETTER". HA!!! I once did three sets of 60 crunches with 25lbs weights, ran 10 miles a day, and could walk on my hands with the grace but there's no way I could (or want to) do the one armed stuff and all that. Like me, this Nation (on a large scale - not all) has become "OK" with the way things are.....and that is the scary thought.

On a brighter note, however, in my older, fatter age, I am shooting better than I've ever shot before!!! That's with some major eye problems to boot. I suppose there is a chance that this ole blinded Nation could, likewise, become better in some things (IF) we get out there and try.
