Did a little peeking down this first page and didn't see anything. Anyway, he has claimed that 'thousands' of muslims were cheering in the streets in NJ after the planes hit, or when the towers went down. My gut feeling is that many, many muslims were happy about the way things went down. Just a gut feeling is all. And then I saw the way many reacted in Palestine.

But NJ? I honestly don't recall anyone at all dancing over there. Really not even a single person. Trump should have peeled back on this one the next day, and claimed he made a mistake and meant Palestine. And even then, I don't believe it was thousands on film.

His comments, and refusal to take them back, and lack of video he claims to have seen... Sometimes when it's SO obvious, you just need to take it back, it happens, shit happens. But his refusal on this one will harm him a tad.

With that said, I am more than thoroughly convinced that the 15-25% of muslims we hear that are perhaps radicalized, I am more than convinced that they all were quite happy with the way things went down.

Wow, I'm surprised, Giuliani is even saying that there were some celebrating, just not the amounts, that it was just small pockets. That's interesting, I was really unaware of this. Still makes no sense. I stated that he was wrong and that this would harm him. Then I saw a few videos posted as I was reading some articles on the story. I post those videos and state that obviously it's only a handful, and not thousands.

Please explain how that is jumping through hoops to justify what he said? Hell, I didn't even think a single person was cheering in NJ at first. That's why I posted that he made a mistake with this one. BD asked a question about NJ, and whether or not it was a hoax. That had me do a few quick searches, starting with snopes. Turns out he was still wrong, still no thousand cheering, but apparently some small numbers were in fact doing so.

On the face of that, no. But a silent protest - standing - draws attention and can perhaps be as annoying to those in the surrounding area as someone speaking. No different than if I go to a Hillary event, and my only "offense" is to have a singular sign in protest, and don't say a peep - I expect to get removed. I expect others will still not like my protest anyway, even if I'm silent. They'll be expecting supporters at a "rally", not those looking to piss in the cheerios.
