Just look at this Christmas Tree, it has so many lights on it that you can't see the beauty of the tree itself. I think it would look much better if it had a few blinking lights on it, and a few ornaments, so that the tree could be seen. This tree is the official Detroit Christmas Tree for 2015.

Instead of wasting time and trouble cutting down such a beautiful tree, and shipping it to the square, they could just as well have just built a cone shaped structure there and covered it with lights and ornaments and left that tree where they found it.

I'd need to see it in person, but I agree it looks over- decorated.
