After decades of posting here, I have finally reached page two on the list of most posts with 2,936. I have to get to 6,237 to reach page one, so I suppose page two is where I will stay. Lots of people came before me that are now no longer posting here. They have my spot.

Actually, I DO know what a Page Three Girl is... or was. That is the reason for the title of this thread... a play on that.

I haven't read much on it, but I think Murdoch bought it and is cleaning it up.

He's bought lots of newspapers, including my local liberal rag, the Winston-Salem Urinal. He's had them focus on local news, and it's actually pretty good. The front page is almost always a local headline, and US news is restricted to a one page deeper in. Articles are longer and in more depth. The sports page will headline high school sports over national.

It's been quite a while since I've bought a copy of the Sun .. but I've looked at their website. From what I've seen, Page 3 girls are just as they've been, NOW, for decades ... the rumour of cover-ups is apparently unfounded.

I could post you the pic printed today (of 'Courtnie', from Plymouth), but I doubt it'd be allowed.

Perhaps there's another Brit here who's still buying the Sun ?
