Record high once again, no government will respond to these concerns.

Net migration to the UK jumped by 82,000 to a record high of 336,000 in the year to June, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
During the 12 month period, 636,000 people arrived in the UK while 300,000 emigrated to other countries.

I am sorry for what is happening to your country. The same is happening here. Soon we will not be able to recognize our own country.

So long as (a) you kick your Lefties out, at the first opportunity .. (b) get a replacement crew in who will NOT feel that they have to obey previously-set politically-correct imperatives, and (c) you KEEP your Lefties out ... you should be OK.

America is still salvageable.

Here, if our Lefties make politically-correct inroads, our Conservatives defer to them, because if they don't, they lose votes !! Keeping the American public DEprogrammed is a prime task of your own Conservatives.

I don't understand why those in power want to bring in people who will wreck the country.

Oversupply of labor drives down wages. Most of these immigrants vote socialist as well.

It not only drives down wages but burdens the social and economic infrastructure taking care of indigents.

Non-citizens get welfare?

Surprise, surprise; Census Bureau data reveals that most U.S. families headed by illegal immigrants use taxpayer-funded welfare programs on behalf of their American-born anchor babies.Even before the recession, immigrant households with children used welfare programs at consistently higher rates than natives, according to the extensive census data collected and analyzed by a nonpartisanWashington D.C. group dedicated to researching legal and illegal immigration in the U.S. The results, published this month in a lengthy report, are hardly surprising.Basically, the majority of households across the country benefitting from publicly-funded welfare programs are headed by immigrants, both legal and illegal. States where immigrant households with children have the highest welfare use rates are Arizona (62%), Texas, California and New York with 61% each and Pennsylvania(59%).The study focused on eight major welfare programs that cost the government $517 billion the year they were examined. They include Supplemental Security Income (SSI) for the disabled, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), a nutritional program known as Women, Infants and Children (WIC), food stamps, free/reduced school lunch, public housing and health insurance for the poor (Medicaid).Food assistance and Medicaid are the programs most commonly used by illegal immigrants, mainly on behalf of their American-born children who get automatic citizenship. On the other hand, legal immigrant households take advantage of every available welfare program, according to the study, which attributes it to low education level and resulting low income. The highest rate of welfare recipients come from the Dominican Republic (82 %), Mexico and Guatemala (75%) and Ecuador (70%), according to the report, which says welfare use tends to be high for both new arrivals and established residents.

Non-citizens get to vote?

On Saturday, California Governor Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 1461, the New Motor Voter Act, which will automatically register people to vote through the DMV, and could result in illegal aliens voting.

Any person who renewed or secured a driver’s license through the DMV may now register to vote, or choose to opt out of doing so. Because illegal immigrants are now eligible for obtaining driver’s licenses, they could be allowed to vote in elections if the Secretary of State’s office fails to verify their eligibility properly.

Brown and the California Democratic party know exactly what they are doing; as a Public Policy Institute survey showed, among unregistered adults, 49% lean toward the Democratic Party and 22% toward the Republican Party. Any bill permitting illegal immigrants to vote would cement the Democratic Party’s hold on California.

Of course what I really would look at would be fraud, not "legally" allowing them to vote. Collecting resources and in some cases fraudulently voting.

Surprise. This is about the UK.

I didn't write "surprise", that was from the article. Nor did I say this wasn't about the UK. Simply pointing out that the things you have pointed out do happen, regardless of laws. Many would also say that here in the US that non-citizens aren't eating up welfare, and that they don't vote. Many would be wrong.

They come in legally, weak immigration laws and an open door to over half a billion people who can come to the UK legally if they come from an EU member country.

Y'all need to get rid of that EU crap. And in case no one in Parliament has noticed, there's only so much space and so many jobs on an island.

Thanks. It looks like 300,000 also took the opportunity to leave during that year. It would be interesting to see the makeup of your net migration and what they do.

... maybe ...

It's mildly amusing to have turned you into a scampering troll. Run along now. :)
