So can't sleep again

Woke up a little while ago. Didn't even want to look at the clock. Said to myself, when I look, if it's after 4 I will get up, earlier than that and I stay in bed. I look and it's only 1:36am. And here I am anyway. :(

And now I'm going to go make a pot of coffee at 2am. Woman will wake up. Woman will yell at me. I will laugh at woman. Repeat process until 7am when she can't get away from me fast enough. :coffee:

I never seem to get an 8 hour sleep at all anymore. Today was just simply not being able to sleep, and another one of my headaches coming on. After the last time, I figured what the hell, why not get up, have some coffee and prevent the headache this time. I can make up for some sleep after I eat 7lbs of turkey tomorrow!

One of the best, most reliable methods of getting sleep, or making yourself tired in order to get some restful sleep at night is...TO FORCE YOURSELF TO TRY AND STAY AWAKE.

If you tell yourself "I can't get to sleep!" every night. Your mind agree's with what you want it to believe, and convincing yourself is the best way NOT TO GET TO SLEEP.

So...fight fire with fire. Try to keep yourself awake by watching tv with the sound low. Or find a good book and try reading it, in bed, when you go to bed at night. Think it won't work? You are right...IF YOU KEEP TELLING YOURSELF SO.

I go through that every few nights. I play the same game of "If I'm still awake at 3:45, I'll just get up". I find the only way to get back to sleep is to read a book. Any computer or phone stuff winds me up.

Can you call Darin? He will be at work at that hour.
