I haven't seen this before ! But it should start a trend .. I'll look out for equivalents from Tesco, Asda, Morrisons etc ...

By way of compensation .. a couple of other British adverts. They mostly feature American stars (we've had a whole crop of them coming over here to record adverts for our products for the past couple of years, now) ...

.. and so it goes on. The 'Meerkat' ones are a very long-running spoof. The theme started as a supposed 'compare the meerkat dot com' site being 'confused' with the real, 'compare the market dot com', with the meerkat puppets patiently 'diverting the public away from their confusing competitors' site ...'. So the joke series has persisted, for a number of years (though the joke was diluted down with time and ultimately dispensed with).

That's funny, because we've had a big increase in folks with Brit accents, hawking products here. But if they are stars, I do not know them.
