An HIV-positive Harrisburg man is headed to trial on charges he raped a 6-year-old child at his residence while another man recorded the incident.

The defense attorney for 61-year-old Ira Task declined comment after his client waived a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.

Task was arrested last month by North Middleton Township police after investigators saw a streaming video of the rape on a videoconferencing website. A co-defendant is charged with bringing the boy to Task's residence on April 20 where the boy was given amyl nitrite - an inhaled drug used to intensify a sexual experience. That man is also awaiting trial.

Wolf was charged with possession of child pornography, and investigators fear that underage patients may have been videotaped at his office. They said Wolf used his office as a place to view and distribute the child pornography.

"In recorded conversations with an FBI undercover agent, the defendant admitted that he possessed child pornography and provided the undercover agent with a flash drive containing files depicting child pornography, including videos of children as young as toddlers being raped by adult men," federal prosecutors said in a news release.

The court documents revealed that Wolf told the informant he is HIV positive and has unprotected sex, even "puncturing holes in condoms in an intentional attempt to spread the HIV virus to his sexual partners."

Wolf said he was "actively involved in underground sex parties at various locations in New York City, including Brooklyn, where participants would engage in sexual intercourse with animals."
