I've just realized who Bernie Sanders sounds exactly like: the cartoonish George Steinbrenner character on Seinfeld. It's uncanny!

So far the questions have been tough ones. The candidates are dancing around them in true professional politician style.

Yeah, Cooper is hitting hard so far. I hope the candidates rip into each other.

I'm going to be pissed if Hellary's email shenanigans aren't brought up.

I've never been a fan of Cooper, but he's really doing a good job at making them answer questions they don't want to answer.

Anyone else notice that Bernie is getting the lion's share of time to speak?

The two poor bastards on the ends are really getting the shaft and they're getting pissed!

Is Webb really a Democrat? He seems half way sane.

He's a former Marine from a Marine family... odd choice of politics for such a man.

All he needs is a white beard and he could go as Col. Sanders of Kentucky Fried this Haloween!

Careful now. That term is probably going to be outlawed (no pork product sayings) by these PC leftist morons, especially if another Democrat wins in 2016.

God, I honestly can't stomach even the thought of having to listen to that screechy harpy, much less look at her ugly puss, for even one year, much less four or eight. This is a never-ending NIGHTMARE!

Wow, Hillary and Obama 'hunted' around a convention center for the Chinese delegation, eh? Then kicked in a door on a closed door meeting and demanded that they sign a global warming agreement and forced them to sign?

Sounds remarkably like a story about Hellary taking fire over in Afghanistan.

Who would watch a political debate when there is a baseball game on? :tinfoil:

Maybe this will be a coronation for Hillary after all. Short of Biden jumping in, these other morons (other than Webb isn't really a dem) are no match. Sanders letting Hillary off the hook on her emails?? Why not just fucking endorse her?

Its a shame you guys only have 2 parties to choose from, if I was in the states I would just watch the debates for entertainment purposes instead for political insight.

Hopefully Sanders goes third party and takes votes away from Hillary.

Depends who ends up being the republican candidate, if Trump drops out they could be as bad as each other.

If there is a third party then there should be a fourth party to balance it out, like 2 right, 2 left.

Yes and no. The countries with more than two parties do too much wheeling and dealing with small often hostile parties to build a coalition to win an election and then too often the smaller fringe parties get to dictate to the majority with terrible results.

He could have totally wrecked her right then and there. Perfect golden opportunity to slingshot ahead, and he helped her out instead. I really don't get that.

He clearly doesn't have any kind of kill instinct, which makes sense with his conscientious objector status during Vietnam.

So instead of a variety of opinions and views on the table you are restricted to two parties who can easily agree on the same matters and be controlled by a ruling elite?

Very rarely do our 2 major parties agree on anything.

Near the top of the two main parties they agree. Just look at TTIP.

You need a diverse range of views for a healthy democratic system to work correctly.

Yeah, saved her bacon right there.

Well, looking at it from a purely tactical thought, it's actually a pretty good move.

1. Hilary's main tactic is to run down her opponents. Sanders continues to be civil and respectful, gaining points that Hilary can't really get.

2. He actually looked like more of a leader.on her scandal than she currently does.

3. People are tired of the backbiting, so Sanders not only refusing to go negative, but being a positive force in his opponent's corner when needed puts him as a nice guy, and really, that's gonna pull him a bunch of votes, even more so if he gets the nod and has to contend with Trump.

Whereas we have two large parties that don't form coalitions, and do the same thing. No one can ever get anything passed anymore. Time for some new blood.
