Important documents

I don't really need them at this moment, but I seem to have lost my social security card, birth certificate and an old drivers license that is basically identical to what I have now. First thought, identity theft. I check my reports, plus I know they are in this house somewhere. I always try to keep things like that safe, then forget where that safe place is at.

I have 2 different safes in my room here, but both purchased within the last 5 years. I don't know when was the last time I saw these documents though, and they aren't in either safe. Nor in any of my desk compartments.

I know they will end up being in some stupidly obvious place.

I went through a folder the woman had and found the old license and my SS card. Now I just need my birth certificate. I can get that the next time I go to NJ.

And yeah, no doubt a lot is of old age. Someone someday is probably going to find all kinds of shit I hid.

But all mysteries have been solved. I found the license and SS card. And my BC just needs replacing, as I recall it was destroyed (long story). I don't need them now and at least I know there isn't anyone out there trying to steal my identity!
