Hehehe.....that's an awfully big piece for such a little rat.

She must have a huge family to feed. So don't think of it as petty theft or greed or entitlement or such. It's for the cheeeldren! Well...her cheeeldren...lol.

Reminds me of a greedy, sneaky raccoon I once witnessed. We were up in a wildlife preserve in Canada and we had the rental car stopped on the road with the doors open. Racoons were begging for handouts and we had brought loafs of bread for the deer and other creatures. So the raccoons took turns coming up to the car and taking pieces of bread out of our hands. But one of them... no doubt the brains of the gang...heh, came up to my husband's side....and when he held out a piece of bread... the raccoon appeared as if he was going to take it. Instead, he very smoothly and slickly reached past the hand and grabbed the whole damned bag of bread loaf and took off running like hell! Funniest part of the trip.
