Dave Beattie, a Democratic pollster who specializes in Florida, described the impact of hardline immigration rhetoric on Sunshine State Hispanics this way: "Even though it's not affecting their immigrant status, it's a sense of, 'You don't like people like me.'"

I don't know how many Hispanics must vote Republican for us to win. It's a shame we even have to be concerned about it.

I hope Ted Kennedy is burning in hell for his part in bringing all these undesirables here to influence our elections.

You play the hand you're dealt. All too often the GOP folds when the Dems are sitting on a pair of deuces.

The GOP needs to move on from being the party of conservative white guys.
Yes, I know there are exceptions. Many of them, in fact. But that is general perception.
Nominating someone like Donald Trump or Ted Cruz gets the GOP hammered in the general election.

I disagree. It is only when the GOP nominates non-conservatives that they get hammered.

We should be explaining conservative values to all groups of voters.
