First on CNN: Biden meets with Warren in Washington

Elizabeth Warren on Saturday in his residence at the Naval Observatory, CNN has learned, another sign he is seriously deciding whether to jump into the Democratic presidential race.



The meeting between Biden and Warren, confirmed by two people familiar with the session, is the biggest indication yet that Biden is feeling out influential Democrats before announcing his intentions.


Beloved by liberal Democrats, Warren decided to sit out a campaign of her own, but she has yet to formally endorse a candidate. In an interview on Friday, she told WBZ in Boston: "I don't think anyone has been anointed."


The vice president arrived in Washington shortly before lunchtime, even though his official schedule said he was planning to spend the weekend at his home in Delaware.

Possibly... certainly would have a better shot at winning than what they currently have up on the board.

I just can't see Biden winning though, he's got that golden foot of his. When his handlers keep him on script, he's fine - but anything off the cuff is automatic International Incident material.

Now, Hillary is leading the pack when it comes to money pouring in from Washington-based lobbyists.


Hillary tops not just her Democratic rivals, but also Republicans. In fact, her nearest threat to K Street donations received contributions from half as many lobbyists as she did thus far into the election cycle.

I really don't think he says those incredibly stupid things deliberately, though. He's one of those guys that tries to crack a joke and it goes horribly wrong 90% of the time.

I wouldn't doubt that his gaffes have been the direct cause of massive drug abuse addictions among his handlers and PR people. I don't even like him and I cringe when I hear some of those beauties! :laugh:

It appears that they're throwing good money after bad, considering her tanking poll numbers... and I don't feel sorry for them.

The Clinton political machine has always been a blatant Pay to Play setup. Their foundation is approaching a billion - that translates into a lot of favors owed.
