I cannot, usefully, do much more to discuss your universities. But as for the vitriol Cameron has taken on this, our Left has poured it on in recent days to deflect from the rather more embarrassing prospect of having a hardliner Left-winger take over the Labour Party (Jeremy Corbyn is seen as leading in the upcoming Labour Party Leadership race), In their case, all they're really doing is trying a damage limitation exercise, because it's 'feared' that Labour will make itself unelectable if Corbyn takes over.

Meanwhile Gordon Brown, the former prime minister, announced he would be making his first intervention in the race on Sunday in a speech expected to be heavily critical of Mr Corbyn.

With all this infighting going on inside the Labour Party, OF COURSE some deflection is being tried. And you're wading in, whether knowingly or not, with support for their deflection argument.

Nonetheless, you're definitely wrong when it comes to Cameron's usage. The dictionary definition quote I've provided proves it. It's also exactly as I've said in terms of Labour's latest mudslinging exercise. They're in severe danger of so marginalising themselves with a Corbyn victory that they'll be out of power for at least a generation .. SO ... they've tried to 'depopularise' Cameron in a hope of equalising things up a bit.

Being Lefties, they've tried a rather nasty tactic for the purpose.

We have a major problem on our hands, thanks to the Calais issue. People have died trying to get into the UK ! But, no. All the left can do is quibble about language usage ... and, incorrectly, at that.

Why do you suppose they don't mention litigation in the OP list of micro-aggressive acts? My favorite way to communicate with an "assertive" woman is with a process server. A process server is a someone who serves a summons. A process server is NOT part of an information technology system. God help you if you are in a traffic collision with me or are a rental property manager and try to show me "who's boss". If you do that, you had better make ZERO mistakes.
