MOSCOW, August 6. /TASS/. Several hundred people are rallying outside the headquarters of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Donetsk, the Donetsk news agency reports.
The protesters express their dissatisfaction with the work of international observers in the Donbas region, which they believe is biased. The participants in the rally are holding posters saying, "Your silence is killing children." The demonstrators left at the doors of the mission’s central office the toys covered in red paint symbolizing the Donbas children who had died at the hands of the Ukrainian military.
The OSCE representatives came out to talk to the protesters but refrained from making comments.

"If the OSCE monitoring was impartial, peace would have long come to the Donbas region. The most amazing thing is that OSCE staff don’t tell people anything. Their answers to our complaints boil down to the fact that they would draw up reports," a participant in the rally, teacher of a Donetsk school Svetlana Titova told the news agency.
Another protester said that he had come from Gorlovka. "Our city is daily destroyed by the Ukrainian army, and you (OSCE) are keeping silent. Shame on you!" he shouted after which the observers went away. And the demonstrators began chanting, "Shame on the OSCE!"
"This international mission called painting their cars vandalism, I see that their vehicles have long been washed, by contrast with their conscience," the Donetsk news agency quotes one of the protesters as saying.
The previous rally outside the OSCE headquarters in Donetsk demanding an end to Kiev’s aggression was held on July 23.

MOSCOW, August 6. /TASS/. Chairmen of the People’s Councils of the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk republics (LPR, DPR) Alexey Karyakin and Andrey Purgin have called on the European Union leaders to return Kiev to the negotiation process.
"We call on the European Union leaders to prevent a full-scale war on our soil and to return Ukraine to the negotiation process to ensure a peaceful resolution of the conflict and to end the extermination of the people of Donbas," says their joint statement published by LuhanskInformCenter.
The speakers of the People’s Councils of the LPR and DPR are asking German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande to give an assessment of the latest statements of the Ukrainian leaders who are not willing to honor the Minsk agreements.
"We would like to know how Mrs. Merkel and Mr. Hollande view the vociferous statements of Poroshenko, Groysman and Parubiy that they do not want to and will not honor the Minsk agreements, that Donbas will not receive a special status even though this is envisaged in the Minsk Package of Measures, that there will be no local elections in Donbass, nor will there be an amnesty for combatants on both sides. But these are also the basic conditions of Minsk-1 and Minsk-2," Karyakin and Purgin noted.
Speakers of the People’s Councils of the Luhansk and Donetsk republics drew the attention of the EU leaders to the fact that Kiev’s policy became apparent during the latest consultations in Minsk on August 3 and 4. "No progress whatsoever, ostentatious obstruction on the part of Ukraine. The failure of a well-prepared issue such as the withdrawal of tanks and mortars, to which the DPR and LPR immediately gave their full consent," Karyakin and Purgin said. "We demand that the EU leaders take active measures to coerce Ukraine to peace and, if necessary, to convene the "Normandy format" summit. We demand that participants in the Ukrainian punitive operation be stopped to save our people from physical extermination."

Is Putin a good scriptwriter ? Or does he have people who take care of these things for him ?
'Coerce' Ukraine to peace, eh ? SAYS IT ALL. Doesn't sound much like well-balanced negotiations are really the plan ! This is just another attempt to get Ukraine to bend it to Mother Russia's imperialistic will.
It's not how we do things here in the West, Balu. Russia needs to evolve a more civilised approach to these matters.
