In the second, he writes that Muslims’ understanding of the companions of Prophet Mohammad is similar to how blind men can feel an elephant but still not understand what it is.



The blog post said that at least some Muslims “keep a tunnel vision of what we think Islam is.”



Hours after the gunman opened fire in Chattanooga, the FBI confirmed the identity of the shooter as 24-year-old Abdulazeez, reportedly a naturalized citizen from Kuwait.



“While it would be premature to speculate on the motives of the shooter at this time, we will conduct a thorough investigation of this tragedy and provide updates as they are available,” the FBI said in a statement.

Of what good is peace if it is bought at the cost of sacrificing all that we hold dear? There is a great failure in our country today and that is the failure to understand total submission. What total submission is and how it could lead to our demise. The greatest example of total submission today is Islam. Yes, Islam is the essence of total submission and it demands that not only from its followers but also from all that it confronts.

Let’s pretend we’re Muslims—that was the assignment in a world history class at Union Grove High
School in Wisconsin. Students were told to provide examples of how they practice the Islamic faith
and the struggles they face.

One parent reached out to EAG News, accusing the school of indoctrination. This is the same school
that once told kids that conservatism meant restricting personal freedoms.

So here’s the question: Were students ever told to pretend they were Jewish or Christian or Hindu?
It seems to be a straightforward question—but one the local school district will not answer.

For quite some time, I have been exposing the Islamafication of American public schools. The Muslim
faith has been given accommodation while the Christian faith has been marginalized.

As I wrote in my book, God Less America, Islamic advocates are waging what they call a stealth
jihad in our school system. And if left unchecked, they will be successful in undermining the
Judeo-Christian values upon which our great country was founded.

Canada: Officials order Alberta school to pay Muslim for lost prayer time

This is a blatant example of creeping sharia. The prayer times are not set in stone, and there
are provisions within Islam to allow one to make up at a later time for prayer times missed. There
is no justification for imposing such a requirement on a school and requiring it to disrupt its
regular schedule to allow for Muslim prayers. But ignorant officials will continue to cave to the
demands of Muslims, until all the world submits, which of course is the ultimate goal.

A Calgary private school that refused to allow two Muslim students to pray on campus grounds has
been fined $26,000 by the Alberta Human Rights Commission.

The tribunal found Webber Academy discriminated against the 14-year-olds and caused them distress
and loss of dignity.

The two students testified they had to try to do their daily prayers in secret, sometimes outside
in the snow.

The school says it is appealing the decision.

“We’re not discriminating against anybody at the school on the basis of religion,” said Neil Webber,
the president and founder of Webber Academy.

“We are a non-denominational school. We’ve operated on that basis for the last 18 years.”

At the tribunal, the school argued prayer that requires bowing or kneeling is “too obvious”
and may make other students uncomfortable.

It said it wants to create a learning environment that is free of religious influences.

The human rights tribunal, headed by lawyer Sharon Lindgren-Hewlett, found otherwise.

“Despite the respondent’s specifically stated goal of making people of all religious backgrounds
feel welcome, its actions, objectively viewed, were not welcoming,” the three-member panel wrote
in its decision.

“If you’re a private school, what you should be taking from it is that the Human Rights Act applies
to you,” said Sarah Burton, a human rights lawyer at the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre in
Calgary.

The two human rights complaints were filed against Webber Academy in February 2012 by Shabnam Nazar
and Farhat Amir on behalf of their sons.

Nazer and Amir told the tribunal that at first their sons prayed openly on school grounds with the
permission of their teachers, but it didn’t last.

After two and a half weeks of classes, Webber Academy told the boys the prayers were against the
school’s non-denominational policy.

The students kept trying to conduct their daily prayers.

Naman Siddique testified if it was too cold to go outside, he would find a nook or cranny in the
school and pray in secret. He said he found it humiliating.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn./WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The suspect in the fatal shootings of four U.S. Marines traveled to Jordan and possibly other Middle Eastern countries last year, authorities said on Friday, as the investigation focused on any signs of a connection to Islamist militants.

The 24-year-old engineer traveled to Jordan, possibly between April and November, U.S. government sources and friends of Abdulazeez in Chattanooga told Reuters. One childhood friend, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said he went there for a job opportunity.


Investigators will try to establish if he was part of an organization or the latest "lone wolf" militant, radicalized U.S. Muslims acting on their own who President Barack Obama has said pose a greater risk to the country than a large-scale operation.

Born to Palestinian parents and raised in a Chattanooga suburb, Abdulazeez may have family in Jordan and may have made several stops, said a government source, adding that a visit to Yemen has not been ruled out.


A trip to Yemen, long viewed as a training ground for Islamic militants, would raise special concern.

Investigators believe family or psychological issues may have contributed, according to a government source, who was not authorized to speak on the record.


Years ago, his father, Youssuf Abdulazeez, who attended Texas A&M University, came under investigation by a Joint Terrorism Task Force for possible connections to a militant group, one source said, but he was cleared of any association with terrorism or wrongdoing.


The father worked since at least 2005 as a soil engineering specialist for Chattanooga city's public works department, according to public records, and his son appeared to be following in his professional footsteps.

The image of Abdulazeez described by investigators doesn't square with the seemingly pedestrian suburban man described by neighbors and classmates: A clean-cut wrestler, the brother of a tennis player, the son of parents who drove no-frills cars. A man who played with the neighborhood kids growing up, gave a lift to a neighbor who became stranded in a snowstorm.

Just days before the shootings, Abdulazeez was seen dribbling a soccer ball in his yard, and he told two longtime friends he was excited and upbeat about his new job at a company that designs and makes wire and cable products.

"Everything seemed fine. He was normal. He was telling me work was going great," said one of the friends, Ahmed Saleen Islam, 26, who knew Abdulazeez through the Islamic Society of Greater Chattanooga and saw him at the mosque two or three nights before the attacks. "We are so shocked and angry," Islam said. "We wish he would have come to us."

This really ticks me off. All the big shots who refuse to arm our troops run around with armed guards 24/7. Write your representatives.

Yes, and no. First, it's against the law to arm US military troops outside of military bases in the US. Now, Obama could just sign another executive order and change that, but since he can't even put the flag at half mast for 5 dead military persons who serve the nation, I'm not seeing it. (And yes, that is a facetious remark). Abraham Lincoln, who BTW has slipped to 2nd on the list of who can violate the Constitution the most, didn't have a problem with it.

And ask a vet ... how many combat military personnel want their lives in the hands of National Guardsmen? No offense, but they are the least trained, and most unequipped members of the military. Due to no fault of their own. The individual states have to pay for their equipment and training and there isn't a lot in the budget for that. They get hand-me-downs from the Army and Air Force. (nobody wants hand-me-downs from the Corps. All our crap is already from the 50's :laugh:) So, before anyone gets their panties in a wad, I'm not blaming the personnel. I blame the people that want to have their cake and eat it too.

Fact remains, I'd rather have a bunch of my redneck buddies armed and protecting my ass than some weekend warrior. Hell, if nothing else, we could shoot and fight probably before we could walk. :laugh:
