I'm hoping they don't have a religion problem.
I've never lived next door to an Islamist (strange, but true ..). But I gather that they have to say their prayers five times a day ? Isn't the first of them due at around 5AM ??
I once chided Jafar about it. I think I also asked him about property values falling in his locality ...

If one person can't hear, the family may all use loud voices to try and include. It becomes habit.
My neighbors. Ugggh. Why do people talk so loudly?
There are only two possible reasons - either they have problems with ears, or they are badly brought up. The first is hardly possible.

I don't think that nowadays to buy an aerophone is a great problem in the USA.
We have the same problem with those, who arrived to cities somewhere from distant mountain villages.

Depends. Some people just don't want to admit the problem, others can't afford. Mine cost $5k each, $10k for the pair.

Move to the Country young lady, heck it has been hot as hell down here so most of my riding has been late at night, I come home on my one bike with straight pipes and it is loud ( I was heard about 2 miles away the other night going to a buddies, he heard me stop and start at the one stop sign ) but no complaints at all from the neighbors, I slide down the road easy and as soon as I get in the shop I shut the bike down, but while living in NJ I would shut the bike down before starting down the road I lived on, and coast to my dad's house, and yes the cops where called many a times. Nothing like Country living.

Have a look how it is in Russia, if you want to buy it yourself, but not use that prescribed and provided to you free by your otolaryngologist. The prices are in rubles, devices are made in Switzerland.

Perianne. Just my opinion here, but I have learned, and experienced the same problem for many years. There are many examples of reasons, or excuses. Yet I believe in conversations with SOME Americans...who must always talk louder than others, in order to be heard over the other LOUD talkers. They have a need to never allow anyone else to OUTTALK them. While others (I suspect) literally suffer from their own experiences with LOUD SOUNDS, TALK, and MUSIC, played so loud...it actually destroys their ability to hear Normally. So...they talk louder because they can't hear themselves, and think NOBODY else can hear them either.
I know in many ways, due to my own hearing loss, which has gotten worse over the years. Honestly, part of the blame came from my Navy years, surrounded by noisy, High frequency devices used for communications, while wearing headset's to listen for Morse Code signals, and other noises around us.
But, more to your point. There can be no doubt. SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST IGNORANT, and inconsiderate of others around them. THEY HAVE BIG MOUTHS....and prove it!

Be happy when you only hear loud talking. My next door neighbor has a massive drum set. And he's a damn good drummer. But that's worse, cause it means there is no end in sight. It all just sounds like crap when your windows are closed and you don't want to hear it. But his Mom only lets him play once it hits noon, and never after 7pm. So while it's loud and annoying, I think they're reasonable about it, and nothing wrong with playing an instrument!
Funny when she approached me once (his Mom) and asked if it were too loud, does it bother us and such. I played dumb and told her I didn't even hear it.
But then I get to go into my room and chill with the loud air conditioner, while the woman's room and her window are a direct hit for the drums!

Stop trying to make this legit. Neighbors and especially their kids have about as much common courtesy nowadays as drivers, or ISIS.
I can still remember the apartments we lived in in Norfolk. Above us lived a little skinny black man and a big, fat black woman. She kicked his ass every time. But I had to get up at 5 so I could work out, shower shave and get dressed, then take care of our daughter while I tried to get my X up. 2 AM fights got old.

Well luckily I grew up in a home with substantial yard, actually it was the neighbors who were lucky. :laugh2: My mom's hearing was worse than mine, she had 88% loss in both ears. She'd play the radio so she could hear it in kitchen. She'd walk into the living room and turn up the tv-all speakers in the house were blown, but deaf people don't really notice that. ;) If she was doing laundry another radio would go on in the family room. Same with cleaning bedrooms and their radios. Seriously loud!

~ "The Associated Press reported that when she was taken Friday night from a police precinct to the county jail, she could be heard saying, "It didn't happen. There's no way. ... They are still alive." ~
"The mass shooting was not the first violent incident in which the professor was involved: According to The Boston Globe, (http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2010/02/professor_accus.html) Ms. Bishop shot and killed her teenage brother more than two decades ago, when she was 20 years old. That shooting was ruled an accident by the police in Braintree, Mass., but Braintree's current police chief has disputed that determination."

OOO you and I would be great neighbors
Seriously all my bikes have been loud, but when living in the suburbs of NJ if I was coming in late I would shut the bike off and coast to the house, out here in the country I can't nor do I need to do it, my house is about a mile down a dirt road ( so I would never make ir down to my house if coasting ) and as long as I just idle on down the road you don't even hear me inside your house, each house sits far enough off the road that it makes it possible for me to do so. Now once I get the bike into the shop I have to shut it down real quick, the shop acts kind of like a mega phone and just slings the noise at the neighbors yard.

:laugh2:
It is on many plans:
http://www.personalhealthinsurance.com/does-health-insurance-cover-viagra/
Is Viagra Covered by Health Insurance? The high cost of Viagra, averaging $22 to $24 per pill, leads many men to seek health insurance coverage for this drug. However, insurance companies have been ambivalent about their coverage for ED drugs, with some insurers picking up the cost and others refusing to cover any portion of the bill.
For example, Medicare Part D does not cover any type of erectile dysfunction drug. This is bad news for the elderly population, the largest group of men who need the help provided by ED medications. On the other hand, many private insurance plans, such as Aetna and United Healthcare, make provisions to cover the cost of Viagra or other ED drugs when deemed “medically necessary” by a doctor and if the patient’s state of residence requires them to do so. HMOs usually cover Viagra with a higher co-pay than for other drugs.
The only way to know if Viagra is covered by your individual health insurance company is to examine your insurer’s formulary. This is a list of drugs that are covered at various rates by the insurer. If you have a prescription drug plan, you will note that the company usually covers drugs in three levels: Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III. Tier I medications are considered essential and usually involve the cheapest co-pays. Tier II medications may be brand-name or more expensive products for which the patient must pay a higher portion of the bill. Tier III drugs are usually considered non-essential and are billed at the highest rate. Most insurers list Viagra and other ED drugs as Tier III.

So, this morning I am inside with the TV on listening to C-SPAN. Neighbor negro boy comes out on his Obama phone, talking using speakerphone, talking so loudly I can hear him inside saying "nobody gives a f**k what you think, nigger". The "conversation" goes on for about 15 minutes.
Thank you God for letting my soul be born into a baby from Finland.
My neighbors. Ugggh. Why do people talk so loudly?
Lol.....I know what you mean. It seems to be a racial thing....at least from my past observations and experience.
My black neighbors in Houston were so loud I had to poke my head over the fence and ask them to turn their music down so I could hear my tv inside. Couldn't do anything about their loud voices, but the rap music was definitely a valid complaint. When they jacked the volume back up, I got my sterio speaker and put it on the patio, cranked it up AS loud and playing country & western...lol. Had a white family on the other side that were always quiet and had no problems with.
Now, in Dallas, I have Hispanic neighbors on one side and the husband can't seem to talk in a normal tone of voice when he's outside. He has to yell. And he has to play that cumbia crap, they call music, too loud. The whitey neighbors on the other side of me are quiet as Church mice, pun intended....lol.

So, I found out why the negroes were in a state of excitement yesterday. It seems that negro boy got shot in his hip by his daddy. As the day went on more and more negroes showed up at the house (next to mine d'oh!).
When I bought this house the real estate agent told me he had talked with the people next door and that they were very nice. He conveniently left out the fact that they were black.
Right now, if I were to want to sell my house, it would behoove me to send a contractor next door and have him do repairs on their house that they have let fall into disrepair. It needs to be painted. The gutters are full of leaves and as a result the bottom of the roof has rotted. Squirrels freely go in and out of their attic through the rotten wood. They never rake leaves from the yard, so grass dies out. They throw trash down in the gutter. It washes down the piping and empties into the area adjacent to my back yard. I have to go out there and clean their trash out. Last year their large oak tree fell over into my back yard. I had to clean up their tree and limbs. They have so many people living in the house and parking in the driveway that the person at the front of the driveway can't get out. The best way for them to get out is to drive through my yard. When they have parties sometimes they throw empty drink cans into my yard. But they are otherwise very nice.
This is Obama's America.

Disagree. IT WAS for health reasons mine went on at 14. But I slept better at night. In case you don't remember being 14, it didn't matter what ANYONE said. And girls are worse than guys because they tend to let their emotions control their actions. Not a good combination with 14 years old guys ruled by hormones.
And, for the sake of argument, WHO decided it wasn't okay? Back in the pioneer days if a woman wasn't married and pregnant by 14 she was a spinster old maid. I'm only throwing that out as a correlation. 14 years old girls nowadays are about as mature as we were at 6. I should say kids, period. Leave home already, huh?

I'm only throwing that out as a correlation. 14 years old girls nowadays are about as mature as we were at 6. I should say kids, period. Leave home already, huh?
Well Gunny I have 13 and 14 year old sons ( well they will be by the end of next month, the little one has a B day tomorrow so they will be 13 together for a month or so then is September the older one turns 14) and honestly although they both have Gf's they aren't doing anything more than holding hands, in fact the older one only talks to his Gf on the phone and through the computer, the little one goes to church with his where as her daddy sits right behind them, he came home all excited the other day cause they got to hold hands. Maybe it has to do with the area you live in, but my oldest was off running with his little Gf all the time, of course her parents allowed them to sleep together, many a nights I walked into her room to wake him up, and yup they where doing their thing as well, seems like my younger ones at this point are more interested in sports and school, if they don't do good in school they can't play sports.
In fact they had orientation for the 8th grade tonight and we found out they are getting HS credits this year, if they keep it up their first year of college will be on the state because they will go to college instead of their senior year of HS, they will have enough credits to graduate in their junior year.
So not all kids are running wild, again for health reason I understand but just in case, no , when I see a need then I would do so, kind of like putting a new engine in the ol pick up just in case, don't make much sense as long as the old one is doing what it needs to.

Since you only have boys, there is a reason why you have such a uninformed opinion. Don't forget that Georgia has one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in the nation.

No actually I remember the pretty fucking well but yet my 13 and 14 year old BOYS aren't out whoring around, hell maybe it is how the kids are brought up, have you ever thought of that ???
Speaking of a fucking uniformed opinion and from a counselor no less, you have told us that ALL boys are our running crazy by 14, their Hormones are going crazy, but yet I brought my kids up where one sits with his Gf during church and the other talks on the phone, yup those hormones are going crazy sure enough, then you read the article I wrote in response to Gunny and ask me if I know about teen pregnancy in GA, after I had told him about my older boy being allowed to sleep with his Gf, and your reply is I am uninformed, your reply as any decent counselor should of and would of been, fantastic, nice to see kids brought up right.
You are a fucking phony in 99 % of your life, go back to the lunch room and clean dishes.

Who is that response to? I only have girls.
And everyone is entitled to their opinion. When I put my daughter on the pill I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CALI-Fucking-FORNIA. I wouldn't have been as worried in GA or AL.
We don't have enough females that can't get out of way quick enough for any surfer running down the beach. Matter of fact, we don't surf.
Gabby maybe I came on a bit harsh, but you are hitting a real sore spot here, I have someone very close to me where her Mother put her on the pill just in case, hell back when I was 13 feeling a Boob was a big thing, and this young lady isn't much younger than me, well she is now a big girl, she is on the pill, and she thought she was doing right, yup she to this day has major issues over what went on back in those days. And you are correct I don't have girls and I also believe there are plenty of times that a young lady may need to be put on the pill for health reasons, so yes I agree with you there as well, but to put them on so they don't get knocked up, that is the liberal way, teach kids right and most will be fine. As I said my kids have Gf's and sure their hormones are ragging but they also know right from wrong. My 14 year old gets girls phone numbers where ever we go, hell he had one the other night that was drop dead gorgeous but was 18, she asked him how old he was and he told her 17 ( yea like anyone would believe that ) but she must of, she gave him a kiss and a phone number, apparently the kid has the gift of gab with the ladies. The wife tells me a week ago he seen a girl talking on her phone and his brother bet him he couldn't get the number, when he asked her who she was talking to she said her Bf, he asked for the phone and asked the guy why he was talking to his new Gf ( again she was older ) he received a number that night as well. Not everything is about sex and if you spend the time with your kids ( as it looks like you do ) then the pill ( other than health reasons ) is something we are rushing our kids into, we are basically saying go have sex, it's cool you can't get pregnant. AS for GA, yes it is the worst for teen pregnancy, and the county I live in ranks #1 in GA, but when ya spend time with your kids they don't have to be out having sex. My kids go to church pretty much for the day on Sunday ( the youth pastor is also their best friends dad as well as the school baseball coach ) Monday they are off, Tuesday baseball practice, Wed. Church, Thursday Baseball practice, Friday off and Saturday they have games, yes keep your kids active and sex doesn't come into the game.

Ha! I wonder when Obama will chime in on this?
The Napa Valley Wine Train is apologizing to a group of black women who were kicked off the train Saturday for reportedly laughing too loudly.
The women said their treatment was provoked by racial bias.
“It wasn’t an issue of bias,” train spokesman Sam Singer said. “It was an issue of noise.”
Wine train officials said they created noise policies long before this incident to ensure the “safety and enjoyment of all guests.”
Similar incidents occur once a month, Singer said.
But the members of the Sistahs on the Reading Edge Book Club say they were targeted because they were laughing while black.

Of course, it is racism and white privilege. I sure am happy about all those privileges I get for being white.
Guilty of being black in a white world: The ludicrous reason these women were thrown off of a train last weekend

Geez, they are loud today. I once thought they were fighting, but they were just being them. Their door is closed and I can still hear them talking...all at the same time, it seems.
I ought to kick the realtor's butt for this.
My neighbors. Ugggh. Why do people talk so loudly?
In some cases, it's a cultural thing. For instance, the man next door, Hispanic, never just speaks in a normal tone of voice when he is outside with his family. He yells. It's just a thing. I'm used to it now ....five years later. I just crank my music up a little louder to drown out his yelling and his cumbia music going all the time (could be worse...could be C&W..lol).
I once spent the weekend with a black female co-worker friend at a beach house we jointly rented. Her family was supposed to be there that afternoon (same day we checked in) but there were storms and flooding that kept them from showing up until after midnight. I had already crashed (lightweight) and woke to the sound of about 20 people (sounded like) all screaming, yelling and making a ruckus. When I got dressed and went downstairs to join the party, it was only about four people...hehe. I must admit though....we did have a hootin good time!
