`The 30,000-pound bomb that could be used against Iran's nuclear facilities 'boggles the mind'
"Negotiators are working toward a June 30 deadline for a comprehensive nuclear agreement with Iran. Should the negotiations ultimately fail (http://www.businessinsider.com/iran-just-threw-the-us-a-curveball-days-ahead-of-a-key-deadline-in-nuclear-talks-2015-6) and the talks fall apart, the Obama administration... and any "future US president" will have what Michael Crowley of Politico describes as an awe-inspiring "plan B" — the Massive Ordnance Penetrator."

The obama pushes to get Iran its nuke before he leaves office!!!
I bet anybody here 20 bucks that he makes damn sure it happens.
In short, the bastard is the damn traitor that Ive called him all along.
Great weapon but of no use if the obama will not use it and he never will.
Thats the fix that was put into place by the globalists and their pact with the muzzies.
Bambastard works hard to make sure Israel doesnt hit their nuke sites.. Another fact most deny. -Tyr

LongTerm. This story reminds me of another Huge weapon from several years ago, that it seems, has been forgotten.
It was called the "MOAB" by the navy, and Air Force. "Mother Of All Bombs" was how they identified it. It also had the capabilities to penetrate DEEP into underground tunnels, and caves or...NUKE storage facilities, or Industrial complexes placed underground.
Easy searches on Google will surprise anyone who bothers to look.

There is a major difference between the GBU-43/B (MOAB) and the GBU-57 (MOP)
First the MOAB: Wikipedia
The GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB pronounced /ˈmoʊ.æb/ (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA_for_English), commonly known as the Mother of All Bombs) is a large-yield conventional (non-nuclear) bomb (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bomb), developed for the United States military by Albert L. Weimorts, Jr. of the Air Force Research Laboratory (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Force_Research_Laboratory).[1] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GBU-43/B_Massive_Ordnance_Air_Blast#cite_note-1) At the time of development, it was touted as the most powerful non-nuclear weapon (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_weapon) ever designed.[2] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GBU-43/B_Massive_Ordnance_Air_Blast#cite_note-gs-2) The bomb was designed to be delivered by a C-130 Hercules (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C-130_Hercules), primarily the MC-130E Combat Talon I (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MC-130) or MC-130H Combat Talon II (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MC-130) variants.

Balu. Ever heard the expression "Beauty is only skin deep?"
You may have beautiful women there in Russia, as we do here. But our Beautiful women are also Highly Intelligent, and know more than how to make money, keeping men happy.
What you said above, can, and should be taken as sexist of you.
There is nothing Unnatural about women with intelligence. But then again. You probably haven't met any of those kinds of Real Women.

Aviation Thermobaric Bomb of Increased Power (ATBIP) (Russian (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_language): Авиационная вакуумная бомба повышенной мощности (АВБПМ)), nicknamed "Father of All Bombs" (FOAB) (Отец всех бомб), is a Russian-made air-delivered/land-activated (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bomber) thermobaric weapon (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermobaric_weapon). In describing the bomb's destructive power, Russian deputy chief of the general staff (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Staff_of_the_Armed_Forces_of_the_Russian_F ederation) Alexander Rukshin (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Alexander_Rukshin&action=edit&redlink=1) was quoted as saying, "all that is alive merely evaporates."[1] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father_of_All_Bombs#cite_note-1) The bomb is reportedly four times as powerful as the US military's GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GBU-43/B_Massive_Ordnance_Air_Blast_bomb) (whose official military acronym "MOAB" is often colloquially called the "Mother of All Bombs" as a backronym (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backronym)). This Russian device would therefore be the most powerful conventional (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conventional_weapon) (non-nuclear (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_weapon)) weapon in the world.[2] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father_of_All_Bombs#cite_note-guard-2) The veracity of Russia's claims concerning the weapon's size and power have been questioned by US defense analysts.[3] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father_of_All_Bombs#cite_note-pp-3)
The bomb was successfully field-tested (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_fire_exercise) in the late evening of September 11, 2007.[4] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father_of_All_Bombs#cite_note-Lenta-4) The new weapon is to replace several smaller types of nuclear bombs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_bomb) in its arsenal.[5] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father_of_All_Bombs#cite_note-mm-5)

Plan B For Iran
"President Barack Obama’s nuclear diplomacy with Iran may yet fail. On Tuesday, exactly one week before a June 30 deadline for an agreement, Iran’s Supreme Leader delivered his latest in a series of defiant statements, setting conditions for a deal—including immediate relief from sanctions, before Iran has taken steps to limit its nuclear program—that Obama will never accept. Secretary of State John Kerry warned last week that the U.S. is prepared to walk away from the talks. And even if a deal is reached, the story is not over. The Iranians may break or cheat on an agreement, and try build a nuclear weapon anyway."

Balu. Since your endless efforts with propaganda haven't managed to fool any of us here.
You should start your own thread, with the title.
"MY (fill in the blank) IS BIGGER THAN YOUR (fill in the blank)."
We all can see. No matter what topic, or subject appears here. YOU, with all of the propaganda you can muster for one more laugh, will instantly find something that IMPRESSES YOU.
So, keep practicing what many of us recognize as Insanity. Where you keep trying the same thing, over and over again. And, each time. You are so diluted. You honestly believe you will get different results.
There seems to be a Lobotomy in your future too!

Iran and Russia have signed an agreement to improve cooperation in defense and military arenas.
The agreement was signed by Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan and his Russian counterpart General Sergei Shoigu in Tehran on Tuesday following negotiations between the two sides.
The deal stressed the need for strengthening and promoting the level of bilateral military and defense cooperation with regard to the common interests of both Tehran and Moscow.
The two ministers also emphasized the importance of maintaining regional and international peace, security and stability as well as countering all types of terrorism, separatism and extremism.
The Russian defense minister arrived in the Iranian capital, Tehran, at the head of a delegation of senior officials late on Monday.
Russia and Iran currently enjoy close cooperation in various areas, particularly in the defense sector.
In May 2014, the Iranian defense minister paid an official visit to Russia to take part in an international security conference.
In January 2013, Tehran and Moscow signed an MoU to increase security cooperation between the two countries.
Condemning Israeli strike in Syria’s Golan Heights
In the meeting with his Russian counterpart, Dehqan condemned Israel’s “terrorist move” to kill six fighters of Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah and a general of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in an airstrike in the Golan Heights in Syria.
“The terrorist act by the Zionist regime (Israel) in the Golan Heights was the continuation of the regime’s crimes in Palestine, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon and their (Israeli officials’) open support for Takfiri terrorists,” the Iranian minister said.
On Sunday, an Israeli military helicopter fired two missiles into Amal Farms in the strategic southwestern city of Quneitra, close to the line separating the Syrian part of the Golan Heights from the Israeli-occupied sector.
Six Hezbollah fighters, including Jihad Mughniyeh, the son of late top Hezbollah commander Imad Mughniyeh, and Iranian IRGC General Mohammad Ali Allahdadi were killed in the Israeli airstrike.
Iran-Russia cooperation
Dehqan said Iran and Russia share common views on political, regional and global issues and added that the two countries can make use of their capabilities to display a model of bilateral cooperation.
He said Iran would remain committed to its role in fighting terrorism and providing regional countries with help and would “act responsibly to strengthen regional stability and security.”
He urged regional countries to reinforce unity and sign pacts to battle terrorism, violence and extremism.

You can speak only about the first Soviet nuke blast in 1949. We had no time to finish our own project as time factor played for us the most important role. Read below about "Plan Trojan".
https://www.nrdc.org/nuclear/warplan/warplan_ch5.pdf
As to Israel I would remind you that NO International Organization (UN is no exception) is authorized to CREATE States. This is out of their statutory activities. So the existence of Israel is illegitimate since the very moment of its creation with all the ensuing consequences.
This is the Palestinian vision of the question. (See the map above) And this opinion is justified.

Why would we bomb our Israeli allies? We gave them the nuclear technology many years ago, and it's what kept the Soviet-controlled muslims in check in the Middle East. Don't think we don't know how the KGB created the "palestinian" myth and fanned the radical islamist hatred against the Israelis.
Many KGB & GRU defectors have told us in great detail about the muslim programs.

Why, Balu, I'm surprised that you would promote muzzie propaganda around here. Surely you, as a former Colonel in the Soviet intelligence community, would know that your little map there is misleading to say the very least.

By the way, can you tell us how embarrassing it was for the Arabs to lose miserably with the latest Soviet equipment (complete with Soviet military advisers) against the Israeli military that they outnumbered at least 10 to 1 and had them completely surrounded? It's a favorite subject of mine and I'm sure you can give us some details of the reactions behind the Iron Curtain played out after the multiple stunning defeats.

The whole concept of a "Palestian" was concocted by the Soviet Union.

How the KGB Created Arafat and PLO
n 1964 the first PLO Council, consisting of 422 Palestinian representatives handpicked by the KGB, approved the Palestinian National Charter—a document that had been drafted in Moscow. The Palestinian National Covenant and the Palestinian Constitution were also born in Moscow, with the help of Ahmed Shuqairy, a KGB influence agent who became the first PLO chairman. - See more at: http://pamelageller.com/2007/08/how-the-kgb-cre.html/#sthash.T23aTdA9.dpuf

You are incorrect. There have been Jews in that region for over 2000 years. The remainder are Arabs that entered the region long after the Jews had settled there.
The name of the region since before the birth of Christ was JUDEA...Then Israel...
Muslims and Islam came in 691 AD, almost 2000years after the Israelite's settled there.
The Philistine people are NOT in any way related to the Palestinians we see today.
Oh... and the territory set aside for Palestinian settlement after the Mandate expired in 1947 is currently under the control of Jordan.
Check that out before you continue your propaganda about the Israeli's...

"stole some of their own" - as in - they AS WELL as the palestinians stole property. Lost in the translation and bad wording on my part.
Crimea, you speak of legalities - what do the legalities say about Israel after the 1967 war? Seems like it IS their property.
And didn't you bring up Palestine? The filthy arabs tried to invade and steal - MANY of them - and they got their collective asses handed to them. Game over, they lost. And still whining 48 years later.

Tsarist Russia lasted from the "Tsardom" of Ivan the IV in 1547 up until Nicholas the II in 1917. That is almost 400 years.
The Soviet Union Dissolved after just 72 years in 1989.
Modern Democratic Russia has existed for just 26 years.
Therefore... You have had 3 different forms of rule in 500 years. Imperial Rule under the Tsar's, Dictatorial Rule under the Communists, and Democratic Rule since 1989.
Your country is not old... technically while the History of your country goes back 500 years you have only had a 26 year continuous period under the current system. The Two systems are entirely different.
The Russia of the Tsarist period no longer exists...
Yours is a new country indeed. Technically only 26 years old. If we go by the passing of your constitution, it's only 22 years old. Having been ratified in 1993.
The NEW Russia is an infant country still experiencing growing pains....

Really? I am American?? You're 1/2 right. My people predate yours my friend.... By almost 1000 years. My family is from Ireland. We've been there since before Christ walked the earth and before the Russians came out of their caves. But seeing that Ireland only became a Republic in 1919, it is only 96 years old. The Russian Federation is a Country only since 1993.

see.. that 70+ year experiment with Communism stopped the continuous governance of Tsarist Russia. If the Commies hadn't killed the Romanovs you'd be about 560 years old.

Folks... the answer BALU just gave is now his stance on Israel: His words say it has a right to exist. That it should be recognized going back regardless of when it's constitution was ratified.
WRITE IT DOWN AND QUOTE HIM!!!
I QUOTE BALU...

If this will come down your complexes you may think as you want. I will never ask you about the USA historical architectural monuments, not to break your fragile psyche, as you're neither the Greek nor the Italian or Chinese. You are an American. http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/big_standart/empathy.gif
Damned rights we are and you haven't been able to do shit about it since 1949. We might like to inter-argue, but we'll STILL kick YOUR ass. I might not like yankees, and call them all kinds of crap, but they're still my brothers and I'll kill you and your country, dirtbag.
If anyone gets to kick their asses it's me. We'll kick your sorry ass back to the Stone Age and get back to our infighting. Hell, I can't stand my brother more than most people that exist I'd NEVER want anyone to have my back more than him.
You're damned right I'm American. And I'm proud of it. Y'all ain't even got enough money to take over the Ukraine. You think you're coming HERE to get some? An ass-whooping? We don't care what you try to do, or if you come over here, we all got guns swords and knives for a reason.
So stick to taking over helpless European nations and shut the fuck up. Otherwise, bring it.

Gunny. Very well said. Oddly enough, in todays world, and while OBL was still alive. The ONE major drawback our enemies, around the world, have never understood, nor figured-out...is HOW we Americans can be at each other's throats, arguing, fighting, shooting, and stealing from, and at each other but....WHEN ANYONE threatens US....Unhappily....our enemies can never find ways to Understand how WE INSTANTLY FORGET our differences...and BECOME ONE AMERICA.
We have seen it take place through both World Wars, and even our enemies, like the Japanese in WWII FEARED they had awakened the World's Largest Sleeping Giant.
Of course. During those times. We actually had REAL LEADERS who had courage, and the wisdom to IDENTIFY our enemies BY NAME, without hesitation, and without APPEASING A FEW to please a FEW.
So, thanks Gunny. We may be threatened every day. But...THE TRUTH, and HONOR will always Win.

Gunny, this is spot on. When it comes to Americans, I doubt any country has more divisions or political schisms, even when the USSR existed. With that said, when push comes to shove, we ARE like a very dysfunctional family. Attack NY? The South will rise. Attack somewhere South, vice versa. For all we say about DC, which for some of us is the attic full of crazy uncles, attack it, watch out!
Our divisions aren't small, nor of little import; they run deep. Yet, at the heart of all the divisiveness, the commonalities are greater than the disagreements. Why? Bottom line the divisions aren't in general on the goals, but how to reach them. We're better at dealing with disasters, those aren't long term and besides much of relief aid is private donations.
The great divisions are between how much government should be considered helpful or intrusion. What should the role of the government be? How broad? Those are the issues that pretty much are at the bottom of most contentions here. Some see government as the solution; others see our citizens or assemblies of citizens as the solution.
But threaten any of us from outside? We'll show you crazy brothers and sisters.

Max. The problem isn't whether we have the capabilities to use it. The actual problem seems to be. We haven't got a CIC with any courage, or intelligence to use such a weapon...fearing he might offend some of his friends in the Muslim Brotherhood....from where he gets his directions.
I don't buy the conspiracy theory meme that Obama is a super secret agent Kenyan Muslim spy. Like many Democrats, he's idealistic with his head in the clouds, but even if he was what you think he is, there are many in government, both military and civilian, who would leak such a treasonous action.

Gotta disagree with you on that Max. Have you forgotten how Obama has been WEEDING-OUT the senior, most experienced Flag officers in the pentagon?
More than 500, from the last count I read. And look at how he has taken the Commanding Officer ranks down to near dangerous levels for Aircraft squadrons in both the Air Force, and Navy. Not to mention the highly uncommon numbers of Commanding Officers, and Executive Officers on Naval vessels since Obama took office.
Of course there are many in government, both military, and civililan who SHOULD lead such actions. But....those same people have been threatened...Like those already Removed, if they dare to speak out against Obama, his admin, or those remaining in Uniform who fear early dismissals if they talk. Money, and Financial futures are at stake, and those who aren't near retirement, or separation from service...SIMPLY WILL NOT SPEAK OUT. You should be aware of that yourself.
You know the ramifications of intentional, Open, criticism of senior officers in Any Branch.
I'm a realist, and pragmatic. PLUS, I also live among thousand of both Retired, and Active Duty military who know...full well, how what they do, and say...rests on whether they remain in uniform.
Please don't tell me you haven't seen the results of such actions.
If you haven't. I don't know how you can explain your desire to deny this stuff is actually taking place.
