Now. If (Obama's) DOD, and Pentagon are authorizing this. I watched a thing on TV or a video here, can't honestly remember, but it was just the other day. It was about transgender folks in the Military, to be precise it was about one soldier that was serving in the desert and called it a vacation, he/she/it said that back home there where so many questions but over there he/she/it was just another soldier. The show showed he/she/it shooting steriods ( hormones or what ever )in its leg. This soldier said there where quite a few transgender people in the military but it was against the rules and being as he/she /it came forward and told it's higher ups that he/she it could be tossed from the military and he/she /it could lose all the years in. Then it showed his/hers /it's Gf back home, and she/he/it explained she/he/it use to be a man. This is disgusting, just my opinion, but if you are a girl and want to be a man then why hook up with a man that wanted to be a woman, are we starting a third sex here.

I'm kind of confused on this one. Public displays of affection while in uniform were never allowed in the Marines. I got my ass chewed for holding my future ex-wife's hand sitting on a sofa watching TV back around 81.

And I was still in during the 90s. So I'm wondering if that was just Marine Corps policy, or what?

It's also a matter of enforcement. When I stepped off the bird in an LZ YOU tell my wife she can't hug me. At least my first wife was a Marine. My second had no idea whatsoever about the military. I came back from RIMPAC -- 30 days -- and I couldn't detach her for 3 damned days.

The point here is the agenda. Gays are gay first. Above any and all other rules, and our current society allows it. I hate being (semi) normal. We have no rights.
