Disney is laying off 250 Americans and replacing them with immigrants. The kicker is that they'll train those immigrants to do their jobs if they want a 10% severance bonus.
Disney isn't the only one doing this, the temporary work visas that Obama is handing out by the thousands is being taken advantage of by companies all over the U.S. who pay the replacement workers at least 25% to 49% less.
There's a simple solution for the workers at Disney - all they had to do was band together and refuse to train the immigrant replacements to do their jobs. 10% is nothing and they should have had a backbone and stood up to the company. Instead, they all rolled over and took the chump change to sweeten the shafting.
I'll wager Walt is spinning in his grave.
