From the Statistical Abstract of the United States, 2012 edition, published by the Federal government.

The government has decided not to publish this annual accounting any more. Look at the graph below to understand why.

As usual, the liberals won't touch this subject with a ten-foot pole. Who can blame them for being afraid of the truth?

not specifically authorized by the constitution doesn't necessarily mean 'illegal'. But yup. Ours is now a nation of takers - weak, and prime for collapse.

Actually, that's exactly what it means. Illegal for the Fed govt to do. See the 10th amendment. And keep in mind the basic purpose for the Constitution in the first place: It was the instrument by which the People gave authority to the Federal government in the first place. If they didn't give it, the Fed didn't have it.

And the legislature doesn't ask SCOTUS to rule prior to legislation, it's afterward and things are "constitutional" until they're not and too often things stay constitutional.
