MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -Police responded to a fight in the 1300 block of Poplar Avenue Friday afternoon.
`According to police, a 35-year-old man walked into the BP gas station at that location while his girlfriend and children waited in the car.
Once inside the business, an older woman said she was afraid of a large group of teenagers hanging around outside the business. The man escorted her outside and asked the teenagers to move away.
At that point, police say the man was hit in the back of his head. Then, a group of teenage boys attacked him and began punching him. Teenagers also vandalized his girlfriend's car when he tried to get inside.
Though the man did not want to go to the hospital, he was scraped and bruised badly.
Police say the teenage boys that attacked the man were students at Northwest Prep Academy High School.`

Time for that 35 year old man and all others to arm themselves, these kids are punks and if he would of just drilled the closes one to him the others would of left him alone. But if these kids didn't know whether or not he had a gun or better yet knew he was carrying they would of been a bit more respectful. Even the thugs don't want to get hurt, and the ones that have to fight in packs, well they aren't even thugs they are punks that the world would do better without. Yes that is a terrible thing to say and yes there are punks that do grow up to be good people, but if the ones that had a little sense thought you may be packing they wouldn't do the things they are doing.
