Perhaps I should have said what it is...
It's an Ili pika. related to rabbits... Very rare, very endangered. The species was discovered, I believe, in 1983.

How did I miss this? Of COURSE I want one! That sucker is cute as hell. Sounds like I won't be getting my hands on one anytime soon though. Here's another one I found:
