`Outstanding job by the officer...his overall demeanor and judgment. Calm....good communication skills and letting the responding units have as much helpful information as he could give them.

Watched this yesterday on another site, guess it's making rounds. Was definitely an interesting watch. I don't know what the drivers goal was - suicide by cop? Did he believe he was going to get out of the care and win a shootout? Also showed a lot of restraint and training when he backed off after the shots and waited for backup. I would have went around the cruiser and emptied another clip on him! And damn, see what happens when a "shots fired" call goes out on the radio, how many cops showed up, like 30 cars?

I dare anyone to tell us how that incident could have been handled any differently.

Those who hate the police so much, for whatever reason. Haven't any idea, nor the courage to
go through, and experience what police officers do each time they are on duty.

Sadly, in this nation today. We generally all get to read, and hear all of the NEGATIVE about police officers.
Granted; we also can agree. Not all of them are Choir Boys and Girls. But who among us would be
willing to face the hatred, crime, and stupidity they face everyday...and still pretend it's such an easy job???
