First thing I thought on seeing he died--at age 82!-- was --he lived too damn long..
My favorite line in my favorite western movie, Shane , is where Shane tells Raker(?) -- "you've lived to long"..
which occurred just moments before the big gunfight where Shane kills the bastard, his top gunfighter and his brother....
