I list stuff for sale on Craigslist once in a while as many do, and of course I am not immune from the scammers.

Except I welcome them. Why? Because they are cheap entertainment!

The most recent of items I am selling is a desk. Below is the most recent scammer and my responses. There may be more as I just responded to him saying I have a friend who has a desk chair that has seen very little use that he may be interested in. We'll see if he responds. In the mean time:

I told scammers to send the cashiers check to an address that is the name and address of the head a law enforcement agency, omitting any reference to a government agency.

For example:

Greg Abbott
300 W. 15th Street
Austin, TX 78701

A master would be able to get cash FROM a Nigerian scammer.

I hear it's been done.

I always give them the number of the local FBI Field officer. I strign them along for a while then give them the phone number and alternate email for all the money..

I must learn this skill. It probably works on politicians too.

A true master is able to appeal to that Nigerian's greed and make him take a trip on his own dime.

This is known as a Safari. After all, he does live in Africa, and he should be out on the road enjoying all the natural beauty and highwaymen the continent has to offer!
