Yep. Take Caesar Chavez for example. Latinos worship the guy. He was a big civil rights activist, labor leader, and popularized the slogan "Si se puede" which Latinos use for everything now. Yet, he was staunchly against illegal immigration because illegals compromised the wages of his unionized farm workers.
