I don't care too much for the swears. While his premise is correct, I have found a more defensible way to express this, borrowed from Rush Limbaugh: The pursuit of excellence. It covers all prejudice left and right. Regardless of your demographics, if the code crashes or gives an incorrect result; you're WRONG. If the bridge you build falls down; you're WRONG. If criminals roam freely in a place you're charged to keep safe, you're WRONG. If the bank you're charged with keeping solvent fails; you're WRONG. If you break up families you're charged with keeping together; you're WRONG. If the house you're charged with keeping clean draws bugs; you're WRONG. This isn't complicated, folks.
