Man Punches Pregnant Woman In Brutal ‘Knockout Game’ Attack

A 34-year-old Brooklyn woman who is six-months pregnant was laid out cold in a vicious “knockout game” attack.


The violent assault was caught on video which was published by the New York Post (http://nypost.com/2014/08/14/pregnant-woman-sucker-punched-in-knockout-game-attack/).


The victim, Jannatul Ferdous, was walking with her sister in Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood Thursday when 33-year-old Willie Stephens slugged the pregnant woman with one single blow, knocking her unconscious.


The video camera captures Stephens walking swiftly toward the two women. As he is passing, he decks Ferdous in what appears to be her face and walks away while barely missing a step.

There are a couple of disturbing things about this. One, since when is sucker punching someone cool? Cowardice is the best word I can think of.

Two, somebody was videotaping this? Who and why is someone videotaping this? I don't have a habit of videoing pregnant women walking down the sidewalk across the street. Weird.

Three, someone videoed this and didn't try to assist the woman?

More questions than answers, I agree.
