Looks like my jeep , if I painted mine  and lifted this one. But talk about gas mileage, mine has a 4 banger in it ( it can't get out of its own way ) but my 360 Hemi in my P/U gets better gas milage than the jeep does, go figure :dunno:

My vacuum cleaner quit working, so I pasted a Jeep logo on it. Now it sucks again. If you want your vehicle out on the trail instead of the repair shop, get a Toyota!

I will probably never spend money on an American-made (whatever that means anymore) car. Just can't get past the inferior build quality.
Except...EXCEPT...
If I'm slogging through Michigan's upper penninsula I bet it'd be easier to find spare parts for a Jeep than a Land Cruiser. That might affect my decisions. As-is, I'm okay with my Expedition.
But then again, the LC will likely out-last...they are built better/stronger...(sigh).

That's because the 4-banger is always working.. it's underpowered.
A buddy of mine stopped by the house yesterday afternoon and took me for a ride in his 'new' 2006 Durango with the 360 Hemi in it. He put it in 4WD and romped it on dry pavement, that big bastard spun the tires! It's almost as big as my Suburban, had a 3" lift and 35" all-terrains... I was impressed.
When he was driving normally with no load on, 4 of the cylinders cut out. Getting 22 MPG is damned good in a large 4x4.
