The title of this thread is very misleading and disingenuous.

Did you read the whole article Gabby? Is this the reference you are referring to?


Racism, stemming from the evolutionary idea that man came from something less than human; that some people groups are ‘more evolved’ and others ‘less evolved.’

I did not see the word "Darwin" or where she stated that the holocaust was a result of the theory of evolution. From the article I would say you are putting words in her mouth.

What part of what she said offends you? The part about legalized abortion being the American holocaust? And, if a family can have 19 kids, as the Duggars do, and they do not get any type of support from the government, why does it offend you. Why does it offend you that they home school?

Or, does it offend you because they are vocal about their faith?

What ever it is that offended you about what this young lady said says a lot about who you are.

I'm an atheist, and therefore I believe in evolution. Unfortunately, it can indeed be used in exactly the way Duggar suggests if one is inclined to believe his race is superior. The logic may be perverse, but there is a degree of linearity to it.

Jim, if she had read the article before posting it she would have been able to discern for herself that the title was misleading. Instead, she tried to add more crap to it by accusing the young lady's parents of being pimps and denigrating them for daring to home school their children. As if the young lady's view of the Holocaust was a direct result of home schooling and not from her own research.

Gabby, how do you explain the lunacy regarding the holocaust coming out of schools where the children are taught by liberal, progressive "accredited" teachers. Ideas that the holocaust never happened?

PS - My daughter home schooled my grand kids while they waited to get into a charter school, and I take offense to you making it seem inadequate.
