That's it, it's over, and history has an awesome story to tell now. He has one series left in Boston, and asked that they respect his decision. He wants his last game to be shortstop at Yankee Stadium. So he will only be the DH in this last series.

You really need to watch this, only a few minutes. Jeter's last game at Yankee Stadium. Bottom of the ninth, game tied 5-5, Jeter comes up with a man on 2nd. Can it have ended any better?
