The original hit 390 pages. I think perhaps it was causing a lot of slowness, maybe trying to retrieve things from the database. Let's see if starting a new thread speeds things up at all.
One of my top 3 favorite songs - Cover me with Roses by Skin 'n Bones

You go to the youtube page. Next to the "about" command, there is one that says "share." This will bring up a new screen that has "share" and "embed." If you choose "embed," it gives you a code line that you copy and paste here.

In my opinion, one of the best Industrial songs from one of the best Industrial albums by one of the best Industrial bands ever.
This is like an episode of '24' turned into music! The tension and suspense is constantly ratcheted up and up til it becomes almost unbearable.

Oh, don't I know it! Quite the opposite, I'm afraid!
Actually, the late, great gentleman in my avatar, upset that a style he all but invented was being taken over by a bunch of lefties uttered that quote of mine.
I take it you are referring to 'The Clash'? I deeply love the Clash, despite Strummer using that band as medium for his inane messages. Doesn't matter much: the music was great most of the time, although I prefer their earlier, more purely punkish albums, and didn't care much for their playing around with reggae and such.

The ramones, the sex pistols and the clash hit the scene at the same time. None can claim proprietorship. Joe was a fucking genius. I met him several times and was always in awe. Agree or fucking disagree with his politics. the man knew his shit. And I loved their reggae and rockabilly influence. It's what made them the only and that matters

Generally speaking, politics doesn't interfere in the enjoyment of music unless the music sucks or they're not very subtle about it.
I've probably listened to more KMFDM than anyone else this summer, and they might as well be the official band of the Occupy Wall Street movement! 180 degree opposite to where I'm at, and sometimes I'd like to work Sascha Konietzko over with a baseball bat, but the music is so first rate.
However, I won't touch Rage Against the Machine with a ten foot pole [despite Morello being a fairly decent guitarist], The Exploited [Wattie Buchan shouting 'Maggie You're a ****!', their ode to Margaret Thatcher, makes my blood boil to this very day!] and others.

Love lost due to break up or time expired still leaves sad memories that one revisits despite the sadness of the great loss. I know this well having had that experience far more often than the average person.

My favorite was always the Dead Kennedys. If only because my dad was an original punk and knew Jello Biafra. Jello was an abrasive punk, but he was also incredibly intelligent and knew what was going on. We met for lunch once when I was going to Cal and talked politics and social injustices for a couple of hours.

I love the genre as well. My dad remains a metalhead and introduced me to old school and thrash metal. When I met my eventual college roommate, she turned me on to symphonic metal. My favorite has always been Lacuna Coil:

Some classic hardcore I will always love: The Misfits above all, but also Bad Brains (their first album) and Minor Threat. Could never get into the Kennedys, always found Jello too fucking annoying somehow.

Lacuna Coil is more uneven, but their best stuff is extremely good.
They can also boast in Scabbia THE hottest woman in metal.

Totally agree with you. Couldn't get into Karmacode at all, but their last two albums have been awesome.
The visuals are always impressive. Scabbia is a great vocalist, and Andrea Ferro is one of the hottest guys in metal.

Gunny. Thanks for that one. I remember humming that tune for days after I first saw the movie. Some of the college football team bands use that music to FIRE UP their members.
If you've ever seen the movie "RUDY", that theme almost sounds the same.
