By the way. SIMILAR dress standards are also enforced in STATE, and FEDERAL buildings WE THE PEOPLE own.

Personally, I would love it if more establishments enacted a dress code.

Most every club I use to go into in NJ had similar dress codes, you had to have a collar no matter the type of shirt ( polo, button down even a flannel ) it just had to have a collar, as for the baggie clothes, no one wants to look at anyone's dirty draws black or white.

I can remember walking into a club with a Harley shirt on ( Park Ave. in NJ ) and they nicely told me I had to have a collar, so I went outside and grabbed my flannel, then they told me no work boots, so I walked outside and put on my tennis shoes :laugh: ( I always had a change of clothes ) then when all else failed they told me I had a hole in the back of my pants ( I knew that wasn't true ) but one thing led to another and the police asked me to leave or they would help ( yup I was a punk :laugh: but a punk where as the bouncers had to call the police ) well once I got home I checked my pants ( which where pretty new ) and yes they had a hole, a pen in my back pocket had went through ( only the tip went through, so I doubt they even seen that ) whether they seen it or not they where right. Moral of the story is if they don't want you in you aren't going in .

Odd that they didn't find anyone that approved of it, only those against it were aired.

Over in Hawaii in the early 90's on a 2-week trip, I was denied entry to Hard Rock Cafe because you had to have a long sleeved shirt and pants. Being from AK and unused to that tremendous heat, I physically couldn't wear anything more than shorts and a tank top because I was just dying from the heat. I felt like I was in danger of a heat stroke as it was.

It was their right to require that dress code, and I didn't get to spend any money in there. Wasn't a big deal.

That TV station has someone with a liberal agenda to even air a stupid story like this with all the interviewees in agreement with the racist spin. The bar is trying to be upscale and kudos to them for trying to class up the place.

It's amusing that the black guy they interviewed would have NO problem getting in with the way he dressed, so obviously they aren't saying "no black people".

They want a well dressed clientele, I see no problem with that.

Trigg. I suspect. Most of us know what kind of woman she is. Always finding something to whine, or complain about, and call it RACIST to HIDE her Buyers Remorse over being disappointed with wasting 2 votes for Obama, but not Honest enough to admit she FEARS being labeled RACIST.

It's a typical, liberal, trick to distract attention from the REAL RACISTS.

hubby was denied entry into a club in Florida years ago because he didn't have on a collared shirt. This is such a non-issue
