It's a select committee not a subcommittee. And it's about finding out what really happened the night of the consulate attack. Your president was not in the situation room that night, neither was killery. They outright lied about the attack calling it a demonstration for weeks afterward, when they knew from the beginning it was a terrorist attack. They arrested and locked up an innocent man. They promised to bring those responsible to justice. No one has been arrested charged or named. The media, except FOX news, hasn't even mentioned the formation of the select committee. The administration is hiding emails and everything related to Benghazi. Even going so far as to classify things over a year after the attack. The only ones playing politics in this is the administration.

This is even worse than what Nixon did, and his was purely political. If you can refute any of this please feel free to answer with facts. Then we can go on to the IRS ( Nixon stuff again) and Fast and Furious, holder gets immunity from your president. The lies of obamacare and any other scandals you want to make excuses for.

And just to clarify it for you, he's not my president, never has been, never will be. He deserves no respect because he's never earned any.

I would bet on the latter: Gaddafi probably believed the US was aiding rebels with intelligence and funding so they decided to strike back. As to the coverup: I agree that we should have been able to foresee Gaddafi doing such a scummy move but he's dead now.

The attackers were anshar islam (however it's spelled) and they announced they were responsible while the attack was ongoing. They are affiliated with the muslim brotherhood. obama was buddying up with the muslim brotherhood, who was behind the taking down of Qaddafi the over throw in egypt, tunisa and syria. Qaddafi was long dead when the attack took place on the Benghazi consulate. You need to update your talking points.

What I think the Republicans need to focus in on with Benghazi is the things that make it a scandal. The current Democratic strategy has been to try and diminish the Benghazi attack by saying that other embassies have been attack previously, and there was no huge investigation. I've seen this crap popping up on facebook in a bunch of places.

Of course, it is different, because there were direct threats against the embassy six months before the 9/11 attack actually occurred, during which the embassy repeatedly asked for extra security that they never received. Then, of course, there was the total lack of response, blaming the whole, clearly pre-meditated attack on a internet video and jailing the creator so they could scapegoat him.

they can't just go after the point of the attack, but after the multiple layers of negligence, and subsequent attempts at a cover-up.

As for the brotherhood. All the so called radical organizations in the middle east stem from the brotherhood.
