I figured I would post this for anybody living in these area's, it looks like it could get ugly this weekend!!

Spring 2014 has been a quiet tornado season thus far, but that's about to change this weekend, if the predicted forecasts that meteorologists are looking at hold true. Weather experts say conditions are lining up for a series of powerful tornadoes to hit an area ranging between Tennessee and Texas from Saturday through Monday. The National Weather Service (http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/exper/day4-8/) predicts a "significant multi-day severe event" in the South plains on Sunday, moving into the Mississippi Valley on Monday.
The extreme warnings stem from an interaction between an East-moving low-pressure system over the Rockies mixing with wetness from the Gulf of Mexico. That will cause the creation of supercell thunderstorms, Slate's Eric Holthaus explains (http://www.slate.com/blogs/future_tense/2014/04/23/major_tornado_outbreak_may_occur_this_weekend.html ), all kept in place in the South-Southwest by a high-pressure system in Canada. That makes the area ripe for a "big severe threat" this weekend, according to The Weather Channel (http://www.weather.com/news/tornado-central/tornadoes-severe-weather-saturday-sunday-late-april-20140422), an extra level on top of today's "severe threat."

My mother when a child of 9 lived thru a very bad tornado and has lived in great fear of them ever since(that's 77 long years). I know to respect them and take adequate measures but absolutely refused to ever go about in an abject fear of them. My mother was so bad just a thunderstorm set her into a fearful state. I rejected ever doing that and at 60 years of age never have . I used to explain to her, mom if God plans on you going out that way there is no way to avoid it. At our farm house we had a storm cellar and it pissed me off to no end having to wake up ,go out into the rain to enter it during any hour of the night. I remember my Dad often sent us all to the storm cellar because she demanded it but he would stay in the house alone.
I vowed to be more like him and have more faith in God..-Tyr
