Bieber is merely stretching the limits of celebrity stardom. He has learned that there is nothing he can do that his handlers won't fix for him. The teenage girls will continue to love him because they don't care.
My almost teenage daughter has never been a fan of Bieber ('too girly"). She is more discerning is choosing her music heroes. Which, in time honored tradition, have to be cute and make fun music.
