Is it just me?

I read a few PM's and look at my thanked posts. They are listed as read. Then I come back to the home page and they are listed as not read. I can read a post, then click on the home page when done, and it's still listed as not read. But if I refresh the page, then it's all listed as being read. Anyone else?

I am moving servers with our site very soon anyway. I don't know if I'll schedule for during the day or night. But considering the issues, it might be better to just get it over with.

It's not just you. I thought you were in the middle of moving so I didn't mention anything.

As and Fyi to all - please bare with me as I fix all of this, and I hope it's not the site itself, and IS the server.

I just purchased a new dedicated server with a new company. I will now need to tend to a few things. After that, I will need to have them move the site from this server, to their server. This time I will shut down the site so we don't lose any posts in the process. While they move, I will change the nameservers. When the site loads and is open for you again, that means the move is complete and I will announce as much. In the mean time, until you see the notice that we are shut down, post as normal and know that the issues are being worked on.

I went into a thread that I had just posted in a few minutes ago and my post was gone!! Then I remembered, hit F5, and there it was. So it's not just the home page.

Me too. Can't access, 'new posts' have to go to 'today's posts.' Can't get rid of 'messages' light, after I read them. Moving very slow.

When you get to the results page for "new posts" and nothing is there, try hitting F5...

Anyway, other site is purchased. I spoke to them and they are doing usual fraud protection on my CC and then server will be ready, and I will shut down here...

F5 didnt work, at least on Mac. ;)

Unfortunately, this is all cookies/session info that is having issues. This is unfortunate, but at least we're moving today and can hopefully fix the issues on a better server. The only bright side is that this type of issue is not "fatal", as we'll fix these issues and have no data loss at least.

As soon as you guys see the message that the board is shut down, that means the transfer should be taking place. It will take longer for the new IP address to propagate and for the internet to learn how to find the new server than it will take to actually move it. But hopefully a few hours after shut down we'll be back in business.

It's no fault of the effing non-stop hours I've been trying to fix this, and now my poor CC has to take a beating too! :laugh:

When I switch pages, I am being logged out. Me too. Has been messed up ever since I returned Sunday afternoon. Still logs me out and often when I log in it will not let me until I try second or third time.
