Washington DC talk show host Chris Plante reported today that Barack Obama omitted the words "under God" from the Gettysburg Address when reciting the great speech for a Ken Burns documentary. Burns had filmed all living presidents as well as various Hollywood personalities and luminaries to pay homage to the speech which was delivered by Abraham Lincoln 150 years ago, today.
Plante broke the story on Washington DC talk radio station WMAL on his mid-morning program, "The Chris Plante Show."

Curiously enough, in his version of the speech, President Barack Obama's delivery contained an omission - in a line that every other celebrity delivered (http://www.wmal.com/upload/News%20Audio/Undergodmontage.mp3) as "that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom," the President left out the words "under God."

Sir Drummond. As usual, from past experience. Obama does this kind of thing routinely because he knows full well...those who follow him, and adore him, aren't really smart enough, or educated to the point of noticing such intentional changes to Historic facts.

Didn't you know? A socialist/liberal/muslim " black messiah" can do anything. That's why they crafted him into a cult figure. I can go along with that if he omitted things currently, in order to not want to insult others. But altering history? Imagine how many speeches would need to be altered if we wanted to omit entries of religion so as not to offend others? And then altering other words, that while not religious, might offend others? But this is American History. You can't just willy nilly change history so as not to offend others. For better or worse, our history is what it is, and cannot be changed, and no attempts should be made to alter our history. George Bush himself used "God" in his speeches like a million times. Should Obama perhaps alter these so as not to offend others? And maybe alter Joe Biden's speech from yesterday so as not to offend anyone?

I know this isn't you saying this Jafar, that you're just giving an answer. I'm not venting towards you, just in reply to your post. :)

But imagine one of the leaders in an Islamic country that would omit "Allah" from any historical context speeches? President of the USA or not, NO ONE should take the liberty of changing our history. Little things lead to more little things, then get passed down through dumb families who heard it, then the next thing you know you have some actually guessing at pertinent facts, even things like Gettysburg. I just assume learn history exactly as it was, not how Obama thinks I might like it.
