Good topic Abbey. Something very few people ever talk about, or seem willing to discuss these days is...."We are ALL getting older."

It always makes me smile when I hear, or see younger people than myself...making fun of people who are older than they are. Which could be...one, or five years for them.

But. As a senior myself. It's always so much more fun to remember. Those who make fun. Eventually will BECOME one of us...One Day.

Thanks AT, but it was Rev's topic. I just really liked it. I can imagine all kinds of uses for this technology. Imagine if we could walk around with people seeing us as we once were? It would certainly be interesting.

only a few years ago, this would have reminded me of my folks, my mom a model in the 40's, my dad ever so handsome in his time.

Today it reminds me of myself. Good times gone, without my hearing aids I am virtually unemployable. I did have a good past though.

My mother as a young lady was quite beautiful and still is at 85 as an elderly lady. My dad gave me my excellent looks and I feel even more blessed that I likely got my high IQ from his genes. However more important than that is values they taught we children. Don't lie, steal or cheat and if knocked down get right back up and plunge ahead, never ever underestimate the importance of teaching perseverance! There were others but those 4 are the tops. Too many parents these days neglect the importance of that basic foundation and don't even bother instructing their kids in following those four! Yet scream and cry when the child turns out to be a lowlife lousy adult with no guiding principles and a miserable life. Our children require great effort and even greater sacrifice, the same thing our parents and grandparents did for us..-Tyr
