Will someone please hand Andrea a tissue? What is the downside to blocking Obama's agenda in Congress?

Is there anything Obama has done (except when it comes to killing terrorists with drones and keeping CLUB GITMO open) that he has done that has had a positive outcome?

Funny that I heard of the denial of Mel Watt's appointment in this manner, yet just as satisfying. Watt was a useless congressman in the gerrymandered 12th NC district, his only qualification was that he was a black Democrat. At one time the 12th was as narrow in places as the highway right of way. :laugh:
