My feelings toward the U.S. Government, what are yours?

The mind of the U.S. government: take money from everyone by force, use it to create wasteful, inefficient government programs that do not incentivize work but instead keep the poor and disabled dependent, and unable to get off them. Spy on its citizens, steal our liberties in the disguise of terrorism worries, and turn the country into a police state, where you're government will shoot your dog, and terrorize you with swat teams, but don't want to be filmed by its own citizens.

I still like Rush Limbaugh's axiom: The vast majority of things the government can do for you can be done better yourself.

I have always done quiet well over many, many years when Congress wasn't in session, and whoever the President was at the time...was out of town for long periods.

Life seems to go on as it should...without any help from Washington DC.
And Life is always HAPPIER too!

Mind you, having said that, I'm not one for giving terrorists an easy time of it. A War on Terror puts you (or should do ?) on a war footing. Wartime conditions can't be expected to match peacetime conditions.

Sir Drummond. These days, here in the Colonies. Using the word Socialist, and Socialism are nearly as punishable...Politically Speaking....as using the word ILLEGAL, or the infamous "N" word.
In fact. My using that word as you did. "SOCIALISM", instantly makes me...as a Veteran. A terrorist, and racist according to the Obama administration, and Democrat thinking in Congress.

But SOCIALIST TRASH, and SOCIALISM ARE....perfect words to describe what is taking place.
