1) Drugs should be legal for adults.
2) I think we should run per the Constitution and BOR, but I'm betting extremists (on both sides) had a different view of what that means.

1) Drugs should be legal for adults.
2) I think we should run per the Constitution and BOR, but I'm betting extremists (on both sides) had a different view of what that means.The only drug i would consider would be marijuana, i don't see it much different from Alcohol. No doubt both sides have different ideas about what that means.

In general I think it should just be pot, but realistically, why bother continuing to waste our money on the 'war on drugs', when we can just regulate them and tax the crap out of them. If old billy joe bob want's to throw his life away and kill himself by using meth or some such, let him. He's a grown up. And certainly one less person like him in the world leads us to a better place.

Larrymc. But....we're not supposed to know, or suggest such things. It makes us look like those RIGHT WING EXTREMISTS everybody likes to use as an excuse, rather than get caught saying, or thinking such things that make other people THINK bad thoughts about us.
I agree there is no REAL war on drugs
If there was. It would have been ended HONORABLY, and HONESTLY long ago. But, as long as there is a DOLLAR to be earned on the backs of the STUPID, and PERPETUALLY IGNORANT American. Politicians/crooks will happily endorse a phony war to keep them in office.

The more people that must be involved in such a massive 'cover up' to keep such a story away from 'the people,' the less likely the whole thing is possible.

Individuals in power can not keep simple things secret, the odds of them all hiding that they are drug kings is zero.

The money flows up. Do you really believe the media would report on all the goings on in the drug world? Anyone that tries to speak out gets silenced. When you can kill a leaker and cover it up as just a drug related killing, it's much easier than some govt agent going public and having to be silenced by courts and top secret declarations.

Don't want your family to die in an accident, you better keep your mouth shut. Like the tsa is security theater, the drug war is law enforcement theater.
