Obama is now tellng us that the use of chemical weapons in Syria crosses a "red line" (one he didn't draw, he emphasizes). The Syrian people obviously need outside help.
But, the last time someone needed outside military help, was Sept. 11, 2012. The place was Benghazi, Libya. And the people being killed, were American citizens. One was even our Ambassador to Libya. The attacks lasted 8 hours, and we had reinforcements only an hour away by air. Those troops were actually walking toward the aircraft to go to the rescue of our consulate personnel, when the order came from high up, to get out of the aircraft and go back to the barracks.

Strangely, it's never been established who gave that order, to cease efforts to rescue Americans under attack in Libya. In fact, the entire chain of events for the Commander in Chief, and his top foreign-relations official, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, remains shrouded in mystery. Even more strangely, the thirty people who were in or near the consulate when the attacks were going on, have not said a word about what happened.
Now Obama wants us to go to the rescue of people under attack with chemical weapons, in another country in that part of the world.
Considering his apparently complete lack of leadership or even presence during the last set of attacks, and his (or someone's) refusal to send troops to rescue Americans who were being killed by terrorists... how on Earth can we trust him to go to the aid of the Syrian people?
