Rebels from the al Qaeda (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/al-qaeda/)-linked Jabhat al-Nusra (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/jabhat-al-nusra/) group reportedly launched the assault on the Christian village, a nun, who is hiding out in a convent in the village, told the Associated Press.

The rebels are fighting the regime are they not? The link only references regime casualties.

It wasn't an attack on Christians. It was an attack on the Assad regime.

At the end of this video a rebel yells out that they will not attack civilians or churches.
