The girl who silenced the world for 5 minutes

Ok, maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but it will make you want to watch, as a very young girl speaks from the heart to the United Nations, and probably made most of the adults there, and at least one watcher, feel like she is smarter than all of them. I don't fully agree with every word she speaks, it's a bit more complicated than that, but I agree with the way she says it. If life would only be as simple as our children see it. Or is it?

Nobody listened to her. We just had the hottest July on record and the hottest August for 150 years right after setting new record high temperatures last Summer that required the Bureau of Meteorology to re-calibrate temperature charts because they were off the scale. We are destroying our planet.

I agree though, what a great speech from such a little girl. Inspirational is how I would describe it.
