Barack Obama has demonstrated that he isn't interested in following the Constitution when it comes to implementing his policies and he's made it abundantly clear he'll do things, including engaging in war and advancing more gun control, with or without Congress. Obama held a meeting with several mayors and Attorney General Eric "Fast and Furious" Holder behind closed doors and told them that he would do everything in his power, including executive action to push through more gun control legislation.

That's not how Executive Orders work, god damn it! They are not, and never have been, intended to be used to strip guns from law-abiding Americans.

Okay, the thing is, there is no actual Constitutional provision for Executive Orders, it is simply an assumed power based on Article II, Section II, Clause I of the COTUS. There it says "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed"


It is not an all-access pass to evade the Constitution. It's there so that, let's say that the mayor of Los Angeles wants to move in hard and fast on the gangs that are plaguing the city. An Executive Order can push through getting the FBI, ATF, CIA, NSA, and DEA forces mobilized, along with National Guard units if warranted. In other words, it's there to expedite laws in emergency situations, or when say, a corrupt legislature is stalling out getting anything done.

Dragon I knew enough to know his executive orders where all B.S. to pump up those that follow him and hopefully show those that don't how serious he is but I thank you for the definition of it, and you ask if he is a lawyer how do you know more, personally I think the guy is a idiot but in all reality he is probably a pretty smart guy ( we do know he went to some great schools unfortunately we have no idea what his grades where ) he just doesn't think there are those that are as smart as he is or figured those that where wouldn't stand up against him because lets face it in his eyes you are a racist now

Abbey. Unfortunately. Obama has told so many lies, and distorted the truth so much. Even he is unable to recognize how foolish, and literally stupid he sounds to Americans who have the ability to THINK, and REASON Logically, on their own.
