WAY more black kids live in the environments that you point out. I'd be curious to hear from her then why she doesn't point out the same issues with them, or if those same issues exist. If the environment is a reasonable reason as to why these problems exist, then the majority of blacks should be 400lbs and in hospitals for their conditions!

I had a class on healthcare and in it we examined vital statistics and, interestingly, Hispanic women, despite having a high bmi (body mass index), had less incidence of chronic health issues associated with high bmi as evidenced in proportionately longer life expectancy than other those of other races of similar bmi.

I've already been tested and have "unofficial" results in possession, and I say unofficial as they aren't notarized and no one would have full reason to believe it is valid, although I know it for a fact as it was done by a psychologist, who I can simply get a signed copy from and have it notarized in some manner. In terms of an IQ test, I think 10 points is huge, and I have NO DOUBT that mine would be 10 points higher. I don't brag about such tests as I don't think they always have real world correlations and a high IQ certainly doesn't make one's political opinion any more valid. But unless your test from a clinical psychologist is WELL above genius level on the charts, you'll be cutting a check which I will happily blur out your personal information and share with the board. In clinical terms, that would be a minimum of 140 on such a test. The "average" IQ in the USA is approximately 100. The highest nation in the world averages approximately 110.

And quite frankly, "google is your friend" and "reading is your friend" would certainly come off as condescending to the majority of members. I'm confident that I can read and comprehend just fine. A quick perusal of an article and seeing stats glaring out about health benefits was all I saw, then you come across the following:

Jimnyc: IQ tests, and people who take them intentionally to IMPRESS other people they look down upon, or patronize. Generally aren't really as smart as any TEST they might take.
People who ACE the SAT'S, or any IQ tests are limited in their intelligence when it comes to common sense, logic, and morality.

Tests show a propensity towards achieving whatever. That doesn't mean actualization of outcomes. You are correct. There are many overachievers, that go further than anyone would have predicted; but many more that fail to achieve what was possible.

If 40% of hispanic kids are indeed overweight, (I have no idea whether they are) and 50% look like they're on track to contract diabetes (again, no idea if the stats are accurate) and a lot of hispanic kids live in unsafe neighborhoods where it IS a problem for them to engage in outdoor physical activity (pretty sure that's a reasonable statement...think East LA) then what's the problem with what she said? My Army tests are still of record in my US Army personnel records. It is a lot of trouble to get the file released to me. At times I want that file to back up my claims but then I say what the hell, if they don't believe me, who cares. My score was well above 140 and no I will not get involved in such matters since I don't want or need the problems.

Since I was once a Notary Public, and I bet Abbey can back me up, the Notary looks at your ID and if proper will sign a statement that you are the person that signed some document. Some things are not able to be recorded by the recording office if they are not notarized.

One thing the Notary is not able to do is state that the contents is valid.

When I took my tests in school, the school told us each our IQ score. But we had no piece of paper to be used by kids perhaps to cause problems with other kids.

My Army tests are still of record in my US Army personnel records. It is a lot of trouble to get the file released to me. At times I want that file to back up my claims but then I say what the hell, if they don't believe me, who cares. My score was well above 140 and no I will not get involved in such matters since I don't want or need the problems.

Point 1... That is a small part of the duties of a notary. You also forgot to mention the requirement in most cases that the document be signed in front of the notary.
