This animal calls for a holy war in Syria but then doesn't have the balls to lead by example. Just another Islamic scumbag looking to incite wars and death, but only to those dumb enough to listen to him. Why don't any Islamic leaders put a stop to this? In the UK, they are arresting people for simply making anti-religious or racist comments online. But in Egypt, one can incite war and ask Muslims worldwide to go to another country to fight, and he is not frowned upon? If you push a Muslim into answering, they will give varying definitions of "jihad", say they don't agree but won't condemn the words, and of course none will stand up and call for HIS arrest. Why do the leaders allow someone like this to try and drum up more tension and death?
I wish he would go to Syria though, as people like him need to meet paradise and their made up virgins, sooner than later.
A Saudi cleric has been criticized for currently spending time in London, only weeks after he urged Muslim youth to join Jihad in Syria.
Sheikh Mohamed al-Arifi, a leading Saudi preacher, called for jihad in Syria “in every possible way” during a high-level meeting of Muslim scholars in Cairo on June 14.
But the Saudi preacher, instead of translating his words into action and providing a model for Jihadist wannabes in Syrian frontlines, has chosen to shine elsewhere.
Recently he has been spotted in the streets of London, which he previously described as "a place where Muslims should not go to during times of crisis."
In London, he sometime threw off his white Thobe, the traditional Saudi dress, and embraced more modern attire.
Not so many pictures of him in London are available, but the few ones that came out showed the cleric in a white shirt and a jacket.

The Muslim leaders are ever so fond of telling GULLIBLE YOUNG MEN how to die for Allah. However never does Allah command those leaders to practice what they preach. Or so they maintain... To this I say, "coward what is thy name" ? -Tyr

We hear a lot about radical imams, clerics and others who "teach" the faith to the less informed. From Bib Ladem, to Zawahiri, to other terror leaders to just your regular guy in a mosque going out of bounds. One of the common denominators of all is that none of them "fight", only encourage others to do so.

The common denominator here is self appointed leaders without any formal training, spreading their misguided and incorrect interpretations of Islam. Much like Mohamed Ibn Abdul-Wahhab who was disowned by his father for rejecting conventional studies of Islam by respected scholars and went on his own divisive path and with support from the British Secret Service, was able to sow discord internally in the Ottoman Empire which weakened it.
Unfortunately, his deviant ways were not kept in check and spawned the Wahhabi movement which is causing the world so much misery to this day. When you complain about terrorism from AQ and the Taliban, you are complaining about your own mess that you made. Meddling in internal politics has consequences often years later.

My finger was on the thanks button as I was agreeing with you, till that last part. First off, I'm very sure "I" personally had nothing to do with AQ or the Taliban. Secondly, when you fund/arm a group that is not a terror group at the time, but they later turn into one, it's not a mess our country made, but yes, it is unfortunate consequences. I'm also very sure it was THEIR choice to turn more and more radical until they reached the goal of terrorism, not our choice.
But you more or less also ignored the main point. Which is that we are always hearing from these nitwits promoting violence, but when push comes to shove they don't get their own hands dirty. Also, while even good Muslims recognize that they spread this crap and incite violence, very rarely is anything done to stop them. Yet at the same time, many will criticize the USA for having freedom of speech, and even go as far as to say that they feel perhaps a fine would be appropriate for people that insult one another. So it's ok to point fingers this way, and even express that some sort of monetary fine would be in order for simply insulting someone - but SO many of these animals are still out there, no fines and continuing to spread their hate and violence.
